I love a cakesmash 🎂photoshoot - it's always such a privilege to be asked to capture special memories. 🤩This shoot was extra special as I photographed this little lady's sisters cake smash a few years ago too! We started with some pictures in a favourite outfit, with a special toy if they'd like. Their adult and/or sibling can then also pop into a photo with them. In this shoot, mum wanted to do a fruit cake set up too which turned out beautifully. It was a huge hit with this little one. Then the cake came out - cakes can be home made, bought or professionally made - every one is special! Some one year olds love cake, others just play a little and some ignore it - we never know what we're going to get until the day. Following the cake, we do a bath time set up which includes a washing line in the background with some of their special clothing items selected from birth hanging on it. Another special First Birthday cake smash photoshoot with these beautiful ladies. I had the privilege of photographing this little lady's elder sisters first cake smash a few years ago, so it was so lovely to do this one too. We did the cake smash and bath wash shoots and, as it was Hallowe'en, we decided to do a little pumpkin shoot too. 🥳🎃🎂🥳🤩

This was a first birthday cake smash shoot I did back in February! This gorgeous little chap was a joy to photograph - such a lovely family. He enjoyed his mum-made cake and mum and dad got to have a picture with the birthday boy too.

I photographed this gorgeous family back in February. I had to put my photography on hold for a few months unfortunately, but am now back at it and look forward to more shoots!
