My name is Meghan Elizabeth Willmott a Wife, a Stay-at-home-mother of 5, a Christian and a Photographer. I am a photographer serving Woodstock, Paris, Ayr and surrounding areas with a special interest in children, newborn and family portrait photography. I enjoy tagging along on natural family outings to most effectively capture the essence of the subject’s true nature. Life is so beautiful and it

is in the everyday moments where true colours shine brightest! Starting a family with my husband at a very young age proved an opportunity to explore my creative side. Growing up I lived with parents who treasured beauty and organization in the home. I have always tried to incorporate that aspect of my childhood into my own life as a wife and mother. However, having our first child at the tender age of 20, left little room for the frivolities beauty sometimes requires. Instead of conceding to the disarrayed mismatch of the “just starting out” family home, I found myself conjuring ways to fix our random collection of possessions into a harmonious balance. I painted, stained, constructed and imagined our many different homes into the most effective works of art I could manage with the tools at hand. And it was through this love of creation that my photographic passion and name for my business emerged! Gen·e·sis
