What a fantastic afternoon at Tavern Inn The Town for Tavernfest 2025.
All the acts were superb, with The Lipinski Band absolutely knocking it out of the park.
Well done to Joe malik and the team at the Tavern in the Town for putting on such a great event.

I can't thank my team enough for the superb work that they put in to build up, pack down and operate our stage, providing a safe and attractive space for all the performers and public to enjoy.

THE LIPINSKI BROTHERS

With an extensive repertoire of covers from 60’s to Modern day, The Lipinski Brothers are one of the south west’s busiest and most sought-after acts.

With a client list which runs from Ben Stokes to Suntory ltd, from Thatcher’s Cider ltd to Aston Villa Football Club, the last couple of years have seen them perform with Reverend & the Makers, The Lemonheads and Marc Almond, appearing across Europe and gracing iconic stages from The London Palladium, Birmingham Symphony Hall and The Bristol Beacon to Passionkirche in Berlin.

Featuring the incredible singing talents of Matt Baker (of The Voice UK fame) and the skills of journeyman guitar player, Cliff Moore, SuperVision have been on the scene for many years in various guises.

They have graced the stages of many pubs, clubs and festivals in this time delivering a superb mix of Rock and Soul music whilst maintaining a unique sense of fun in their performances. Oh, and let's not forget the rhythm section led by virtuoso bass player Richie Blake.

ZEALS, a rock band from Weston-Super-Mare. ZEALS provide a spicy cocktail of well known covers, but in no way have you heard them rip like this before. The 3 piece outfit are well known for their energetic and wild performance's along with a large catalogue of their own tunes, zeals truly explode a heart racing message across, with an amplified urge to move. Their ever-changing set blends rock classics, hidden gems, and original songs, featuring artists like REM, The Who, and Pink Floyd. Born of 2000s kids who just couldnt forget, Weakend Warrior are a new four piece outfit creating 2025’s love letter to the 2000s emo/alternative rock scene. With influences ranging from Jimmy Eat World, All American Rejects, The Starting Line and My Chemical Romance.

Weakend Warrior promise memorable riffing guitars, booming drums and hooky choruses to backdrop original lyrics with a modern flavour.

Joe is a highly experienced F/t professional solo entertainer from right here in Weston.

He’s very popular all over the South West performing a wide range of upbeat & energetic tribute shows to many different genres & eras at holiday parks, local summer festivals, pubs & social clubs.

This year he’ll be performing a very special one off show for us by mixing both his very popular 80’s & 90’s party shows together on our stage at 3:45pm on the Saturday 26th July

On stage midday Sunday 27 July.

The Steepholmers are an acapella shanty band from Weston-Super-Mare, singing a mix of shanties, forebitters, songs of the sea, and occasionally venture into folk songs. - in carefully crafted harmonies.

They will have you laughing and singing along, maybe shedding a tear or two, with their mixture of comedic, rowdy and sad songs.

The Steepholmers perform for community groups, events, weddings and festivals, taking no fee for performing, but accept donations for the RNLI in Weston-super-and our local Lions Club.

The Steepholmers also run the very popular Sea Shanty and Folk Music Festival in Weston, which runs from 1st to 3rd August.

The Steepholmers Shanty Band is a registered charity.
