Road closure update: Since July 14th our road has been closed. Today it is still closed… it’s unfortunate and frustrating. I do not feel comfortable for the safety of our customers to have the store front open at this time. However we are still of course running business as normal as possible! I want to take the time to say how much I appreciate each and every call and order that I receive through my small town business! Birthdays, Weddings, events of all kinds, proms, homecomings, Pick Me Up Bouquets, Walk Ins, Holidays I Love it and enjoy it all!!! But I would like to focus on what an honor it was to be able to fulfill an order for one of the most difficult times we all face. Please read below:

Today I had the honor of being apart of a very sentimental project. I was able to show my craft and talent; to bring peace and love to a client/customers family member at their final resting place. This also made me want to reintroduce myself to anyone who doesn't know me. My name is Megan. I have owned Puhlman's Flower Shoppe now for almost 10 years. I've been in this industry of Art since I was 16, Now 36. I grew up within the funeral business my whole life and I have been with and have met a lot of amazing families at their hardest moments of loss within the funeral business itself and within the floral industry.

My heart is especially with all of the families who choose to call to have my work be apart of a day that is hard. It is heart breaking when a loved one, spouse, family member, friend, parent(s) and beyond passes. I truly take in consideration how difficult those times can be and I try my best to make the floral side as easy as possible. What I have always offered but haven't advertised a whole bunch is the "after care" of loosing a loved one!!

It was an absolute honor to be able to fulfill this request and I want to take a survey on if YOU or ANYONE you would know would be interested in this type of service.

As we close on week three of our storefront being inaccessible and the road being closed… We are crossing Our fingers🤞🏼, toes 🦶🏼, flower stems🪴, and petals🥀 that this will be finished up soon! We of course, are trying to run operations as normal as possible, and deliveries and phone calls can still be made!

Onto another update:
There are More traffic updates and more navigations but also some neat info to pass along.. thank you for supporting the small businesses in our little town! Without the support we wouldn’t be here! Hope to see you all soon in person when we can fully be open and function daily!!

To all of our amazing followers and customers! Please be advised that our store front will probably be closed until the follow work is complete… we are pretty bummed out about this! If you would like to place an order for pick up we can arrange that to be between the hours of 4-5pm. This is unfortunate and hopefully the work will be complete ASAP!!! Please accept this as a notification regarding the construction work for Peoples Natural Gas taking place along East Main Street starting the week of Monday, July 14, 2025.

On Monday, July 14, Peoples Gas will be working along East Main Street between Robert Avenue and Walnut Street.

Please be aware of posted No Parking notices and the times that will be placed during construction. During the week, work will take place between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. After construction is completed for the day, on-street parking will be available during the evening hours.

This Sunday it’s time to show your mommas some love!! We have quite a few different plants available!! A large variety of fresh cut flowers and a nice mixture of beautiful arrangements for everyone!! We also will be here Friday night from 10am to 9pm!!! Come visit us on Friday from 5-9 during the first Carnegie crawl of the 2025 season!! We have some goodies for ya’ll and a special give away for Mother’s Day! 💐 and here’s another great sign from my hubby as a reminder!
