Chef Andre Rooi, our founder, and his wife, Dr. Elisette Rooi Cannister, have just opened a fantastic seafood spot called, Van Rooi Viswinkel & Restaurant. For the past five years, they have worked hard on bringing this vision to life, inspired by the Bible story of Luke 5:1-11. They began by supplying fresh fish to local supermarkets and restaurants, and now they've expanded to this new location, where seafood lovers can enjoy a meal, have a coffee, relax, and even take some goodies home to cook on their own.

With this new shop and restaurant, their goal is to serve both locals and visitors in Curaçao with delicious seafood dishes that are carefully prepared with cleanliness in mind. This reflects their expertise as a chef and a doctor. Plus, you can still get their fresh seafood products labeled under, Van Rooi Seafood, at supermarkets and restaurants, and soon, they will be available for export.
