Good Morning..
I'm somewhat back in the land of the living after THE most intense week since my weddingš¤£.
Thank you to everyone who has completed the feedback form so far, there are lots of kind comments, valid points, and suggestions that were already on the discussion points for 2026, or have now been added.
I just wanted to address a few so you know I'm hearing you, and/or to explain some elements of the event.
1 - I'm sorry the pancake hut wasn't open, this is out of my control and it's permanently closed now. It will be reopening as a larger Papa John's. The Spa Hotel has been going through some refurbishments and I believe it reopened on the Saturday of our event. I do believe that HIVE now does breakfasts and pancakes.
2 - Food service on the Saturday night was slower than usual, this was potentially my fault as I changed the layout of the room to make it more of a barn dance feel. That was the first time the events team onsite had delivered an event, with that layout, for FULL capacity. I have already started conversations with the events team to work out a solution for next year to improve this.
3 - The Rowan Suite was added to provide a larger space, to accommodate more people in the classes which were selling out. If I put on Sound Baths, Yoga, in a smaller room, it would completely dominate the timetable, and leave no space in the studios for other classes.
4 - As much as I would love to, I cannot get a bungee fitness rig, or a inflatable yoga studio for hot yoga onsite... I mean, I never say never, but it's unlikely.
5 - I am absolutely BUZZING over the silent disco run feedback. Joanna is AWESOME, I voice note her with random ideas and she just embraces them. She smashed it, and it has been one of the best received additions to the timetable in years.
6 - There have been some comments about having longer between classes. IT's worked for 13 years with having a short change around, but with now having Rowan which is not in the sports centre, it does take a little longer to get around. This is being considered.
Please know that ALL points are taken on board, anything needing urgent attention, gets it straight away too.
On a completely different note, you might see a few pop up specialist events coming in different areas in the coming months š¤ .
