My entire world and why! Every meeting, every client interaction, every stack of chairs moved, every linen fluffed, every weather app checked 5 times in 30 mins, every wedding is to show these two what hard work looks like. I want my kids to know that hard work and time invested in a venture pays off. These smiles are what fuel me! I am grateful that this job gives me the flexibility to spend time with them during the week and work from home. If you are my client I can guarantee that you will meet them during a Zoom pop in for bedtime kisses!

Want to know what we've been up to this season!? We have been busy with three full planning weddings and celebrating the love of some amazing people! In August we worked with Christine and Jay to fully plan their one year vow renewal. Their love story is one for the books! These two met playing Red Dead Redemption 2, while one lived stateside and the other in England! Their love for each other radiates from their faces when they are around one another and we were so honored to bring that to the forefront for an intimate group of people! brought all the energy and kept all 17 guests dancing the entire time! Thank you and Jay for choosing us to help plan this joyous occassion!

I am currently looking for a new wedding planning job, to whoever gets the privilege of planning this wedding! That's right, I will sell out, I will close shop, I will move to assist on this wedding! I know I am one of a select few that loves Travis Kelce as much as (maybe more than) Taylor Swift, I know crazy talk!

Happy Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈 I feel like posting something for the LGBTQIA community in June is cliche, but the message of love and support for the community has been weighing on my mind heavy the last few months. It was time to make a statement.

Paisley and Pearl Events wholeheartedly supports the marriage, love, well-being, happiness, and rights of anyone and everyone in the LGBTQIA community. We love having the privilege of supporting couples on their wedding day, knowing how much it means that these two people now have the legal right to be married, when this was not always the case just ten years ago. We will always be there with open arms full of love and open minds ready to learn when needed.

This year, Pride might not look or feel the same, but don't let the bastards grind you down!

We made it to the Top 5!!! We have to make it to the Top position to make it out of the group stage and to the quarterfinals!!! The nonprofit that runs this contest used your donations to provide a 1M grant to help babies impacted by the hurricane in NC and FL! Know that if you decide to make a donation to vote it does go to a good cause! Keep up the voting!

Happy 7 year wedding 💍 anniversary to us (Heather and Brandon)! Today has been a day of celebration and challenge. This is what marriage is all about. Supporting each other through all the challenges that might come your way and helping your kids navigate those situations right beside you. Brandon found out today that he is being sent to Western NC to help with the relief efforts as a lineman for an undetermined amount of time. 7 years ago, tomorrow, we started our honeymoon in Spruce Pine and traveled to Asheville. Tomorrow, Brandon will make that exact journey to help those without power. It will be sad to see the difference, but I am glad B can help! Here is to another great year and navigating the rough waters together as a team! 🥂

Have y'all ever been to for a wedding? They have horses!! This beautiful wedding venue in Chapel Hill has three unique ceremony sites, an indoor space and a large covered reception area. We love having weddings here! This is the wedding that started our connection, and I later found out that I went to high school with the owner! Small world!

Sometimes, a rainy day can churn out some amazing photos before the storm! Part of our job is to check the radar continuously throughout the day to prepare for any weather that comes our way. We always have a backup plan for rain, in case, and will do anything to help your vision come to life. We have stood out in the rain with an umbrella over the photographer to get the perfect shot! We've moved co****le boards inside on a dance floor for a rainy cocktail hour for a knockout tournament with prizes. We've moved 125 chairs inside 30 mins before a ceremony when a very quick storm moved in from nowhere! For every wedding, we combine advanced planning with hard work to make your dreams come true, in any weather!

Hey everyone! I am Heather, the owner of Paisley and Pearl Events. I lead all of our full planning, partial planning, and some of our month of coordination packages!

Fun facts about me:
1. I have two kiddos (a four year old daughter and an almost 1 year old son) that are my whole world!

2. I met my husband in 2006 at a chance mutual friend encounter at NC State, but we didn't talk again until 2010. We saw each other at the movie theater in 2010 and reconnected over FB messenger! We dated for 6 years and got married in September 2017. You can meet your spouse anywhere!

3. I was a nanny for 12 years locally and in Madrid, Spain. My daughter still gave me a run for my money!

4. My favorite part of wedding planning is getting to know my clients and then hearing their toasts on the day of the wedding. It gives us a glimpse into our clients' lives even further!
