Makes you thing about how we have prioritized cars over the people that live in our cities and towns. It’s time to rethink what we have done. The loneliness epidemic facing our country was exacerbated by COVID, but has also allowed us to focus and understand where we have messed up in our city planning. The suburban experiment has failed us by isolating us to our private homes and the internet while removing us from our neighbors. We must get out and rebuild our communities to reverse these trends before it’s too late. We must rebuild our public spaces and add great public transportation options.
