Women's History Month 2026 is going to be jumping at the Local! Thanks to a grant from the Flint Women & Girl's Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Flint we will have an entire month dedicated to amplifying the voices of women in Flint's creative community. Are you craving that nostalgic feeling of being excited about a school book fair, and browsing all of the new books to find just the perfect one?! At the Book Fair for Grown Ups, you can do just that! On Saturday, November 15, join us after hours and browse a selection of new and used books from R&B Used Books, Dragon's Roost Press, Friends of the Flint Public Library plus several local authors, and plenty of vendors with book-related goodies and merch. There will be drinks available for purchase from Coffee Beanery- Sloan Museum while you browse, and your ticket includes access to the entire museum (please no food or drink in the museum galleries).
