As such they suit gatherings not designed to be so formal that they overwhelm.

You can imagine a long table down the centre or groups of people clustered in conversation.

Overall cosy and welcoming in atmosphere.

These are the kinds of gatherings the barns now lend themselves to best.

We had a big birthday celebration in the Barns on Saturday catered for by .tocchini, our go-to catering partner: a wonderful chef whose food is always sublime.

'We LOVED the delicious gala dinner in the Saw Mill and had a really special relaxing meal together before the party!' said our lead duest the following day.

Last night, we had a special birthday party in the barns for guests who were staying in the Manor House for the weekend. But, did you realise, you don't have to stay here in order to have a function in our beautiful barn complex?

Choose which of our light and airy barns best suit your needs. The Saw Mill is long and narrow; the Dutch Barn wider with a slightly larger capacity.

Holding your event here is not just about the class or pop up itself. It's also about a sense of community and companionship that flourishes alongside it.

If you just want to make a quick buck, run in and run out, then you are not likely to get as much out of being at Barton Court as you could. Give your group time to savour the magical environment that they are in and you will reap greater rewards.
