💗 FUN FACT: Supporting LOCAL doesn’t mean choosing SIDES! 💗

Here’s a little food for thought… 💭

Just because two businesses sell the same product doesn’t mean we have to pick one over the other!

👏 We can cheer for BOTH!
👏 We can shop with BOTH!
👏 We can celebrate BOTH!

What if, instead of seeing another business as competition, we saw them as someone bringing fresh ideas, a different perspective, and MORE opportunities to our community?

Same product doesn’t mean same passion, same personality, or same experience! ✨

And isn’t that what makes shopping LOCAL so special? We have CHOICES, and behind every one of those businesses are REAL people with dreams, families, and bills to pay!

There’s room for EVERYBODY to succeed! ❤️

So let’s stop picking sides and start cheering each other on. Because when local businesses thrive, our WHOLE community wins! 🛍️

Community over competition. ALWAYS! 🫶

25 years ago today, our country changed forever. 🇺🇸

It’s hard to believe so much time has passed. I can still remember exactly where I was (in the car on the way to the commissary on Naval Air Station Corpus Christi
)heartbreak, and fear we all felt as we watched the events of September 11 unfold. I stay glued to the TV, for days and weeks on end.

But I also remember what came next.

I remember the unity. The American flags everywhere. The kindness between strangers. The overwhelming support for our first responders and military. For a time, our differences didn’t seem to matter nearly as much—we were simply Americans, standing together.

Today, we remember the innocent lives that were lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the incredible bravery of the heroes who ran toward danger while others were running to safety.

May we never forget September 11, 2001—and may we never forget how united we once were. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
