Makenzie and Phillip's Wedding!

Their wedding took place at Meadow Wood Acres on a beautiful sunny day. We began with some getting-ready photos featuring the bridesmaids and groomsmen. The ceremony was held outside in the open-walled chapel, providing a unique view as I moved outside to capture images from inside. Before the reception, we took advantage of the shade for family portraits and wedding party photos. The barn's interior was stunning, adorned with wood accents and warm lighting. As the golden hour approached, we ventured out to a nearby pathway for photos in the tall grass, capturing the romance and magic of the moment.

Lauren & Jacob's Wedding!

What a fantastic day for a wedding! The sun was shining, and the weather was just right. I started the day with the bride, capturing her getting ready in the comfort of her home. Then, we ventured to the local depot path for wonderful bridal portraits. Meanwhile, the groomsmen were also getting ready in Eagle, and I traveled there to capture their pre-ceremony moments. After the beautiful ceremony, we stopped at Island Park in Grand Ledge for some fun-filled wedding party photos. We took a moment to capture some serene walking photos in the grass, adding a touch of nature to their wedding album.

Raven and Jared's Wedding!

I traveled to Owasso to the Z Hall, a small but hidden treasure and an excellent venue for a wedding. I met up with Jared and his brother at a local hotel for some quick preparation time photos before heading over to the Z Hall for photos with Raven's side of the family. The unexpectedly beautiful weather added a touch of serendipity to the day. The garden was fantastic for the ceremony and for taking photos afterward. We also sneaked out a few times for golden hour shots and some nighttime photos.

Katie and Jared's Engagement!

I traveled to their family farm to take some portraits by the river. Afterward, we headed to Portland to capture photos featuring buildings, bridges, more formal settings, and dusky shots. It was a fantastic experience, although I might have taken a few too many photos!

Jeremiah and Emily's Wedding!

What a lovely spring day for Jeremiah and Emily's wedding in Grand Rapids! The weather was absolutely perfect, making Thornapple Point Golf Club a wonderful spot for photography. I had such a great time capturing their big day; it was filled with joy and lots of fun, especially with Jeremiah and Emily's vibrant energy bringing an extra spark to the celebration.

I must admit, the lighting was a bit tricky since it was an indoor wedding with those big windows letting in a lot of sunshine. But no worries—I picked up a new set of powerful lights to ensure everything looked fantastic during the ceremony. Overall, it was an unforgettable day!

**Emily & Jeremiah's Engagement!**

It was a fun and playful idea! We met in downtown Grand Rapids on a chilly, breezy day to capture some engagement and family photos. We took a break in a warmly lit bar, where we enjoyed some incredible shots and hot chocolate as a treat. Afterward, we headed to the blue bridge, where we captured some lovely photos of the festive tree lights. The bridge was very windy, which made it challenging to use the softbox on the light stand. We quickly took some fun shots and moved on! Thank you for braving the cold with us; it was definitely a photo shoot to remember!

Dorie & Ryan's Wedding!

What a lovely winter wedding! As the temperatures warmed up a bit from earlier in the week, we got the perfect opportunity for a quick first look and some charming, chilly photos. We took a few fun breaks and created some fantastic shots with the beautiful snowy backdrop.

Dorie and Ryan were an absolute joy to photograph! You could really see how much they enjoy each other, and they were so natural in showing their emotions. Their wedding was simply beautiful, and the reception was a blast! It was filled with laughter, celebration, and plenty of dancing, all brought to life by a fantastic live band.

Phil & Makenzie's Engagement!

Mackenzie desired a more formal indoor session since it was too cold outside for a typical shoot. We decided to meet at the Law Quad at the University of Michigan to capture their engagement photos against the stunning architectural backdrops. Balancing the additional light with the surrounding environment was an enjoyable challenge, and we had a great time. We even braved the cold for a few outdoor photos before finishing.

Seth & Noelia's Wedding!

It was a beautiful chilly day for a December wedding at the Bridge Street Wedding Chapel in Grand Ledge. The chapel, with its warm old glow, nice wood, and stained glass, was enchanting and made for incredible photo moments. We headed out to the country for some wedding party photos. It was a bit chilly, and the group was awesome despite the freezing weather. After stopping for toasts and fun, we finished the day off in Eagle.
