One of the things I have REALLY struggled with in my business is social media. 😵‍💫😵‍💫 It seems counterintuitive being a marketing professional but I am only a one man show here.!! 🙈🙈 Even though I preach to my clients that taking social media seriously is SO important, I often don't take my own advice. Social media can be so easy to push off until later or when you have some more time. BUT guess what? That time never comes!! 😬😬

A few months ago, I decided it was time to quit my corporate job and focus on building my business. However, I noticed how much slower I was growing than my clients, and I know exactly why... lack of commitment!! So, I have put together a little plan for myself to stay on track for myself and not just for my clients! 🙌🙌

Here are my top 5 tips to see social media growth from your own business. Try these out with me for the next 30 days and see what kind of growth you get:

1. Make reels- reels are expontially growing accounts on IG and FB ( no dancing or perfection required!)
2. Show your face- have a personable account! No one wants to look at a bunch of graphics (makes me think of college lecture slideshows!)
3. Consistency- make an effort to show up everyday. Better yet, block time out in your calendar each day. 30 min a day will make a huge difference!
4. Plan Ahead- have a plan for your posts each day. It takes the stress off of coming up with something every day. Batch create and schedule posts for later!
5. Reply to comments- don't forget engaging with your audience! The more comments, the more growth.
