Free Entry - Thursday July 4th we are back again with headliners Random Beats, + support.
Random Beats first played our stage in February 2023, and released an EP from their Tiny Festival recording!
Random Beats are a 4 piece original band from Horsham.
Solid musicianship, fronted by the charismatic Damian, they deliver thought-provoking melodic observations.

Thank you for the music, our first show with 3 full bands.
Mike Fillery and the other two, got the party started with their energetic brand of surfer rock pop, the bubble machine was a nice touch. If you are considering booking them do! Guaranteed to entertain!
James McCauley and his new band, backed by their powerhouse drummer, delivered a tight set, great musicianship.
Our headliners Mad Flies, travelled from afar! If you know about them then you will know that they are a secretive bunch, not much online under the guise of Mad Flies, each member is an artist in their own right, with a rich catalogue of music. They were outstanding, melodic guitars, 3-part harmonies, deep beats, incredible songwriting. It was an honour to host them once again.

If you are not aware, the Garden Bar feed the headliners, and all artists receive drinks of their choice, a wonderful gesture in return for their music. We also offer all artists a free professional multitrack recording as a thank you too. Keep music live!

Impressive quality musicianship, the show opened seamlessly with Rob & Rich, performing their smooth chilled heartfelt originals

SongBox Band brought their A game with the new addition of NiceTime John on Cajon, 3-part harmonies, intricate guitarwork and lots of well-crafted songs (Album release this month at the Folklore Rooms 25/4/24)

5-piece Headliner’s Fragile Creatures, just about fitted on our Tiny stage! (Sorry to the drummer, hidden in the corner) Outstanding performance! Harmonies & grooves worthy of a top signed act!

An awkward start with one of our acts unwell & football nearly cancelling the night! The venue was packed to the rafters.
With a calming persuasive chat from NuSoul Union’s Manager Simon Hill, the last-minute fill in performance from The Penny Drops, together we made it happen, albeit a little different from our usual set up.
Opening with Hannah Jennifer, one of Brighton’s youngest new talents, a great set of her originals, with a few beautiful covers thrown in.
The Penny Drops, all the way from Redhill (Thank you! 🙏) ramped up the energy with Maddy’s powerhouse vocals and Rob’s incredible guitar skills 😎🎸
Headliners NuSoul Union, wowed us with original pop, R&B grooves, 3-part harmonies, a fresh Brighton girl band. Thank you all, we did it! ###

Last night we were on location at The Folklore Rooms filming a wonderful intimate gig for Australian Singer songwriter FREYjA - Exclusive interview with FREYjA coming soon for Tiny Festival TV, with live footage from her recent gig featuring Sharon Lewis (she used to be one half of acclaimed folk duo Pooka) Paul Robinson on drums (Nina Simone) and Jazz guitarist Luca Boscagin ( regular performer at Ronnie Scott's, collaborations extraordinaire)

Thank you to all our artists! A wonderful start to 2024!
Hana Luiz opened the night with an enchanting set of her original songs, accented with her own interpretations of popular covers including Kiss, & Sophie Ellis Bextor’s hit “Murder on the Dancefloor” the audience loved her! Big Friendly Jones, wowed us with his soothing tones and excellent guitar work, reminiscent of the infamous Jack Johnson. I will say however, whilst taking photos from the back of the room, I heard a loud snoring! Surely someone wasn’t sleeping through his set I thought? The culprit was a very cute girl called “Duchess” Big Friendly Jones’s rescue dog!
I guess she’s heard it all before! 😊
Our headline act The David Burnage Band, certainly didn’t disappoint, beautiful soundscapes, emotive songwriting, skilled musicianship and David's incredible vocals.
