Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get discussed enough in the world of weddings: ghosting.

Whether you’re a planner, vendor, or couple, chances are you’ve experienced it. Maybe you’ve sent out a proposal and never heard back. Maybe you were mid-conversation with a couple and then—poof—they disappear. Sound familiar?

It can be frustrating and confusing, but after 15+ years in the industry, I’ve learned how to handle ghosting with grace, professionalism, and a healthy sense of perspective.

After finding love on the Netflix show 'Dating Around,' Heather Rose and Ernesto Posadas finally tied the knot in a romantic three-day wedding in Taormina in Sicily, Italy that the couple described as "everything we could've wanted and more."

Three stunning brides, three killer gowns, and three wonderful grooms who know they hit the jackpot on their spouse. ✨

Incredible guests, supportive families, and rockstar vendor partners who make it all happen. 🙏🏻

Huge shoutout to the Gene & Georgetti team for holding down the fort. My East Winds Farm team—thank you for keeping my horses happy (and unbridled equine too!) while I ran around the world. And Paws for Walks, thanks for keeping Fee + Aldo full of tail wags - and my mom gets the Grandma of the Year award for being the best to her four-legged grandkids.

To my freaking awesome MDE team: Brigit, you’ve absolutely rocked this season! Chris, you’re a lifesaver. And my amazing husband—thank you for stepping away from the camera and joining the MDE madness when we needed you most. Honorary MDE status officially earned!

To everyone who supports me in chasing my dreams: thank you. Seriously. I love this job, with all its beautiful chaos and challenges. I learn more about myself with each wedding, and it’s so incredibly fulfilling.

So yes, I’m humbled, grateful, and beyond happy. Also: exhausted, sore, and maybe a little run down. But you know what? It’s totally worth it.
