There are so many inspiring Directors and community members who recognize the value of supporting students, who become tomorrows leaders. I enjoyed running across this article. This is one example of the dedication and positive difference a strong community can provide. There are many such examples of great Music Education programs.

Huge congratulations to the Opelika Middle School Percussion Ensemble!
They traveled to Orlando, FL to compete at OrlandoFest and came home with 1st Place in Percussion Ensembles and were named Grand Champions, beating out every middle and high school ensemble this weekend!

We’re so proud of everyone’s hard work and dedication. Way to go, and Go Dawgs!
