A week spent immersed in nature exploring the California coast meant stopping to smell the flowers along the way 😉😊. Returned home refreshed and ready to continue tackling big landscaping & garden projects before our busy wedding and event season really kicks into full gear 😊

Happy first day of spring. Yesterday I worked outside in warmth and sunshine. Today, we woke up to snow. Pure Michigan spring 😊. There are so many crocuses popping up all around our house. I think they multiplied tenfold since last year!

I've been a bit quiet on social media as I've been tackling a list of "to dos". Wedding client meetings, consultations, spring clean up, studio organization and the ongoing 1860 home remodel project... the word "bored" is not a part of our life!~

Is anyone else craving floral fragrance and greenery this winter? Trader Joe's for the win with their potted hyacinths that I recently picked up. Loved adding some springtime vibes to our current winter wonderland environment.

Happy Monday!
Hope your New Year is off to a great start!

I can hardly believe that Forrester Farm turns 25 this year! It's our golden birthday year 😉😊. What an absolute joy it has been to be a florally part of hundreds of weddings and events over the past 25 years. Then to think of the many years of participating in the farmers market, various art shows and the fun "Garden Room" & "Barn Sales" we've had over time, we have truly met the sweetest people throughout the past 25 years.

If you are newly engaged, Congratulations! This is such an exciting time of life. If you haven't found your florist yet, we still have a few open dates for 2025 and are booking into 2026. Would love to chat.

Cheers to a great 2025. The best is yet to come!

Truth be told, the real stars were all of the ladies who recently participated in a fun and special day with Kellie Hetler 😉😊. A total gift to be a part of one of her photo shoot days filled with holy moments.

Loved adding in some foraged interest from our surrounding woods and property. Behind the scene work space and studio snaps by yours truly. Kellie's photos are purely magical.
