The phrase goes like : You can take the girl out of the island, but you cannot take the island out of the girl. In today's explanation to our students, the ISLAND SOUL name is derived from our heritage.

Today's meet and greet was truly exceptional. It was remarkable to meet young souls and witness their traditional hand waves and siva dance - it was the highlight of the day. Meeting the parents and observing their love and support was genuinely special, as they strive to keep their children connected to their roots. Thanks to our media guy, who traveled from the other side of Portland, captured incredible photos today. We extend our gratitude to the parents of ISDC, and to our other students and their parents who were unable to attend. We appreciate all your love and support. Nevertheless, all glory and honor are given back to God. It is never about us.

In Gods timing , Registration for Island Soul Dance Crew (ISDC )Siva Class and More is now open !

Calling out all the Pasifika Mamas out there , who wants their babygirl / daughter to join the ISDC dance class . Or need a babysit ? Give me your kids so I can teach them some siva moves .
There’s no age limit, for dancing is for everyone !

It’s a great opportunity ,not only to inspire our young tamaitai’ to embrace our culture, but to understand our roots as Pacific Islanders.
1. Lau Gagana ( language)
2. Le fa’aaloalo ( Respect )
3. Lau Tautua ( Service)
all these main things will be embedded in our siva dance/ class .

What I’m teaching :
- siva samoa
- Basic siva samoa dance
- Remix dance ( Funny commercials dance + )
- Taualuga
- Cultural siva + class ( zoom or online )
