Choosing the right space for your event can have a HUGE impact! Here are a few important questions to ask yourself to help you avoid surprises later.

What is unique about the space and worth highlighting?
How will traffic flow?
Where is the best place for catering to set up?
Where will the bar go?
Where will check in be?
What does the venue provide for sound/AV/entertainment?
Do we need to order extra tables, linens, etc?

We are so excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Mirena! ✨

Originally from the west side and raised in the greater Spokane area, Mirena has loved event planning for as long as she can remember. Her first “official” event happened in the third grade, when she organized a full baby shower for her teacher, complete with assigning her classmates décor instructions, color palettes, and a detailed list of items to bring. Even then, she knew she was meant for a future in events.

As an adult, she built a successful career in real estate before transitioning into nonprofit event fundraising, where she discovered her passion for creating experiences that bring people together and make an impact.

Mirena now lives in the heart of Spokane with her partner and their five pets. She’s excited to bring her creativity, organizational skills, and love for meaningful community work to the team.

Events are NOT about us - they are about our clients and the guest experience. You won’t find many pictures of us at our events because we are there to serve. Making time at the end of an event to celebrate our wins is important though and there’s no better way to capture our joy than making a visit to the event’s photobooth (if we can get there before it’s gone!).

The full Events by Jennifer Evans team was assembled in the same place at the same time for the first time ever at Bourbon, Bacon and Brews this summer! 🎉 Capturing that moment was important and is a good reminder for each of you to capture yourself having a little fun too.

This year took their annual preceptorship course to Nashville, Tennessee! 🎶 While spending 3 days learning about the BaleDoneen Method, participants also got to spend time connecting with one another and exploring the city.

This course gives health care providers necessary tools to prevent heart attacks, ischemic strokes and type 2 diabetes, while making time for community and fun! Visit their page to learn more about the work they do: baledoneen.com

Last month, we got to travel to the west side of Washington again to work with on their annual GO Beyond Gala. We are proud to report that it was another record breaking night! We are proud to work with this organization that is doing such incredible work around the globe to bring hope and healing to children around the globe! ⭐

As we gain new followers and friends in this journey, we want to paint a picture of the clients we work with and the size and scale of our events. In our time as a company, we have produced over 260 events for more than 100 clients. On average our events see about 350 guests and we work with modest budgets averaging about $55,000 - $100,000 in expenses. Tell us more about the types of events you plan!
