Hey Nation, obviously we will be watching this winter storm crap & probably a real good chance we’ll be postponing until next weekend.
Not official yet but we’ll announce by Wednesday. Hopefully this is the last of the snowy weather & we can get back to racing!

Well I guess I’ll save yall the drama of waiting till Friday to announce that Westphalia is postponed until the make up date April 13th.
Everything is frozen solid the peewee course is solid ice & the gravel road in is solid ice as well, yes it’s gonna melt some but it’s just gonna re freeze sat & Sunday , plus Sunday’s temps will be in the single digits with wind chills in the negative range. Not safe on any level. Especially for the little guys.
Sorry gang, can’t control the weather. will see yall next month at Oldfield.

With so much going on, here’s a little quick summary of everything.
Fri, signup opens 10 am, peewee races start at 2 pm 8&u first then peewee pro at 3, then Stacyc at 4, two races for them, non racers first , then the “open” class.
Signup will close at 9 pm then re opens 6am until 9 am Saturday. Signup is onsite only. You can print the wavier off the website & have it filled out (except the number part) if you were at lus your good, but you still have to get an assigned number, your normal class number won’t be used for this race. Don’t forget to bring your helmet to sign up, & as a reminder if your chasing series points for year end awards this is the last round to pay membership to do so.

Saturday, dirt church, prayer & national anthem starts at 830, Mandatory riders meeting following. Please be there lots of information to be told.

Races start at 930 sharp.

Moto scoring.

Moto 1 , 3 laps normal hare scramble, 16ish miles per lap. = 50 miles. Youth, women & 60+ only do two laps.

You must complete each Moto to move on to the next.

Moto 2. 2pm. B classes & up.
2 laps 12.5 miles = 75 miles. All hbgp series points are done after 75. Except Pro Class.

All awards will be done after Moto 2. Night race immediately following awards.

Moto 3. Reserved for the top 30 overall racers.
3 laps 8.3 mile laps = 100 miles.
Pro Awards & all cash payouts following.

You are allowed to change bikes but only between motos, not during.

Cut off times are as follows & will be announced at the riders meeting.

Moto 1 you must be out on your 3rd lap by 12:15. & then you must make the mid point check (8mile mark) by 12:45.

Moto 2 you must be on 2nd lap by 3:30 & to mid point check by 4:15, trust me when I say it gets dark in them woods! We have to clear the course.

Moto 3, you race untill we stop you. / Checkered Flag.
