Alright, here’s the deal: Good audio is everything! By micing the couple, I’m able to create more depth in a wedding film. I can preserve all those candid moments and intimate conversations, even when you're not together. 😉 Trust me, this little trick makes your wedding film so much richer and more emotional. In this video I walk through how and why I mic a bride (as long as they’re comfortable with it).

This is us!

Hello! My name is Ben Libby, and I am the owner of Graphic Formation, LLC, an event videography business out of Des Moines, IA. My wife, Lauren, and I have lived in Des Moines since August of 2015. Ben graduated on May 1st, 2019 with his Robotics and Control Systems Engineering Technology, AAS degree from Des Moines Area Community College. Lauren graduated on May 24th, 2019 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, DPT degree from Des Moines University.

In March of 2018, we had the opportunity to film a wedding “for fun,” and we absolutely loved it. After that, we decided to invest in some real equipment and start our own videography business that following May. We are an epic husband and wife duo eager to show our easy-going, fun, and cinematic film services. I’ve been making videos for many years unprofessionally, and am excited and proud to display my work professionally now. Here at Graphic Formation, LLC, we favor videos with a cinematic feel that help produce emotions that were felt during the time of filming; we strive to achieve this while capturing events like: weddings, receptions, business advertisements, and other local events.
