We are back for 2023 and we have a big year planned! We thank everyone for your support in launching operation mate check in 2022 and all the support we continue to receive in sharing our message.

Michael Pap is fundraising $5000 for multiple veteran organisations by participating in the 70.3 Ironman race in Melbourne Victoria in November 2023.

Michael is an ex-army reserve medic who has faced multiple mental health challenges since leaving the military. As a result, Michael endeavours raise awareness for veteran mental health and suicides, as well as support Australian veteran-owned businesses through the funds he raises.

Michael first took me under his wing when I left basic training and came to 6th Close Health Company as a trainee Combat Medic. It is an honour to see what he is accomplishing now, and that he is still looking out for others like he did for me when I was a young dig.
