Big changes are happening at Balloon Whimsy, and I truly hope that you all will bear with me as I transition. When I started my balloon business, I learned I have a latex allergy. For the last few years Ive taken precautions and only had skin reactions, but now the allergy is starting to affect my lungs and I just cannot continue to work with latex. So, im transitioning to mostly latex free setups, but I have some amazing ideas I cant wait to bring to life! I got to do my first setup with paper “balloons” and I was very excited about how it came together!
I am pretty excited that Ill be able to reuse a lot of materials, which will allow me to keep my prices affordable, but not skimping on quality products, and there will be a lot less waste!
Im still not sure exactly what im going to call them, and may change my business name, but for now I will stick with it.
Also, if you already have a scheduled setup, I am planning on using latex balloons, unless you’re interested in changing to the new! More pics of this sweet setup are on the way!
