We have been truly overwhelmed by the amazing feedback we’ve had from the young people and their parents who attended Mozart in Mind 🥰

We are over the moon that everyone who attended was able to relax and enjoy the event 🎶

We want to share a video with you that made us smile today! 😄

This is a video of Toronto-based band ASD, named from Autism Spectrum Disorder because all five in the group are on the spectrum.

The band invited people on the spectrum from around the world to film themselves listening and playing along to their cover of Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe." The resulting video includes submissions from 11 countries! 🌎

Snowdrops and Sunflowers are a Birmingham-based mental health charity, founded by Laura Clarke, they work to provide a safe space for discussions around mental health and disabilities, they also promote tools and services to aid in mental wellbeing 🌻

Our last Mozart in Mind performer is Charlotte 🎉

She has performed with various ensembles such as the BBC Proms Youth Ensemble at the ‘Last Night of the Proms’ and with the National Youth Chamber Orchestra. When not playing in an ensemble, she enjoys playing for weddings and at folk events too.

We’re thrilled to have such a talented group of musicians joining us for this event. It’s going to be a wonderful evening of live music! 🎶

Molly is from South Lincolnshire and has performed with many orchestras, notably the Britten Sinfonia Academy. She is passionate about exploring baroque and contemporary music for solo cello, and has co-founded the ‘Dahlia Ensemble’ at RBC. She has also worked on the premiere of Anna Vienna Ho’s opera The Monk of the River.

Meet Oliver who will be joining us for Mozart in Mind 👋

Oliver studies both baroque and modern violin. One of his most recent performances was as principal second violin in the Arcadian Opera production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. Oliver also works as a creative, collaborating on artistic projects in and around Birmingham. He also sings with the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus alongside the CBSO.
