We are proud to present our Q&A with the legendary Thrillseekers (Steve Helstrip) who will be headlining at Reminiscence on 10th November.

Turns out that Steve is not just a phenomenal DJ, he’s also a really sound bloke as well.

The Thrillseekers has announced his upcoming visit to Norwich for Reminiscence presents The Thrillseekers (Strictly Vinyl – Strictly Trance)) and the tickets have been flying out ever since! If you don't have a ticket yet, now's the time. 🩷🩵🩷

I’ll be back at Reminiscence in June, for those of you that enjoy a vinyl-only night. Loved playing for them last year, and can’t wait to close out June’s event with a two hour set. If there’s something you’d like me to bring along, let me know in the comments. Hope to see you there with some Jaffa Cakes. 🙌

Some of your suggestions were already on our radar and some have already been booked however you have introduced us to a large number of DJ's that we are not familiar with. We will be listening to mixes and live streams and deciding who will be coming to play for us next year. 😍

The mighty Lange is one of two headliners playing on the Reminiscence stage on Friday 18th July at Timescape Festival. 😍

He’s also playing b2b with The Space Brothers on Sunday 20th - two sets in one weekend – what a joy! 😍

Lange was a no brainer of a choice for the REM stage, he played a blinder for us in November and we have no doubts that he’ll smash it again in July! 🥰😍

Has anyone been to this awesome festival venue? We are buzzing that we have a stage there on 18th July at Timescape Festival. It's the same place that the infamous Secret Garden Party was held for many years and is on the grounds of a Georgian farmhouse and has its own lakes, river and landscaped gardens. Looks absolutely magical! ❤️

The Thrillseekers aka Steve Helstrip, doesn’t need an introduction but here you go anyway. Steve headlined for us on 10th November 2023, our final event in The Crypt. It was of course a sell-out and he blew us away with a truly phenomenal set. ❤️

The Thrillseekers have been at the forefront of the global trance scene for over 20 years. From his first single Synaesthesia in 1999, through to countless club classics including The Last Time, Affinity, Es Vedra (with Aly & Fila) and more recently After the Rain.

Steve Helstrip has been behind some of the most emotive electronic music ever released. He's worked with pioneers like Trevor Horn, shared co-production credits with Chicane and Ferry Corsten, and remixed for artists including Tiesto and Armin van Buuren. He has worked under many aliases including Hydra, Rapid Eye, En-Motion and Insigma.

His album ‘Altered State’ was released under his Hydra alias in late 2019. MixMag concluded in its review that ‘This might just be the trance album of the year’. Steve showcased Altered State to a spell-bound audience at the world-renowned Transmission Festival, Bangkok. ‘Altered State – Extended Mixes’ was released in 2020 along with ‘This Is All We Have’.

Prior to Altered State, Steve released his album ‘Escape’ on FSOE. Singles from the album included Amber, Anywhere with You (with Stine Grove) and Halcyon 2016. As a DJ, Steve continues to captivate crowds the world over and regularly performs at the world’s top venues. Creamfields, Tomorrowland, UNTOLD and Ministry of Sound have all born witness to his fluid mixing, unique style and energetic performances.

Steve is well loved in the trance scene and displays an insane amount of energy and passion behind the decks. Seasoned ravers know a great DJ when they hear one and many of us have followed Steve throughout his career.

It is an absolute honour to have Steve as our headliner at Reminiscence presents The Thrillseekers (Strictly Vinyl – Strictly Trance) on 6th June 2025. Steve will be playing a 2-hour vinyl set.
