Our Story

Guernsey Gigs is a team of volunteers dedicated to supporting original music in Guernsey and the Channel Islands. It began back in 2009 as a simple website listing what was on in the island but has since expanded into a youtube channel, facebook group, putting on our own events, a podcast and lots more.

The Guernsey Gigs team is made up of musicians, songwriters, producers and more, with skills in advertising, film, photography, developing, promoting, and finance with many years of experience between them. Together our aim is to use our skills to help strengthen the local music scene and bring people together to create, perform and promote original music both on the island and further afield.

If you are a local musician or in band and need help or advice in taking your music forward then the team is ready to help. If you have some cool ideas you think could benefit the local music scene and want to get involved with Guernsey Gigs get in touch. (We’re currently looking for writers/reviewers to contribute to the website and also people to help man our stalls at gigs selling merchandise for local bands.)

If you're in a band and want to get booked, add your info to our bands spreadsheet so people know how to get in touch with you. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iLPmCCiIqBSILqgS-maSWgohl3yH8Yd6r-ePtRuIFQY/edit?usp=sharing
