So...πΈ
It's been a while since I've made a wedding bouquet now. There have been a few reasons for this- firstly, having my darling curious livewire toddler can make it difficult to work with delicate and fiddly materials. Secondly, I have struggled with valuable materials becoming discontinued, and thirdly, it just seems that the demand for custom bouquets has really dropped. People seem to be taking the minimalist approach with their wedding decorations now... and who can blame them really, with the rising costs of weddings and already-beautiful venues!
There's been something that I've wanted to try for a while, and I'm so grateful that I've been given the opportunity.
I found Nic and Neil through a friend, and they very kindly let me attend their special day to photograph my first wedding.
I honestly loved it from start to finish, and I learned so much from the experience. I know I have so much more to learn though, so if anybody else is getting married on a budget, or knows anybody who is, please point them my way if they'd like to take a chance on a cheaper, less experienced photographer!
It doesn't get much more special than a wedding day. I found myself welling up at times, even though I did not personally know this lovely couple before their big day. π€
I am delighted to have been booked to photograph a second wedding next August, and I can't wait π€π·
