The only thing better than becoming friends with my couples after their ceremony, is performing a ceremony for a couple I am already friends with 🥹⁣
⁣
Sure, the pressure is higher and the emotions are harder to compress, especially when you have been privy to what life has thrown at them. Kirst was actually the MC at my wedding (because she’s bloody fun & incredibly articulate), so hitching her to her soul mate was a privilege and a highlight for my little biz. ⁣
⁣
The vendor crew was next level and I’d recommended every one of them in a heartbeat. Also, (IYKYK) 🍷

1. Your son as your Ring Barrier will leave a golden memory in your heart for life.

2. is incredibly talented, I spent an hour before this ceremony just watching, in awe. The colours, the scents, the styling. High level talent.

3. captured the essence of Erin & Scott so perfectly. They really do look this lush in real life.

𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙪𝙨 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮? ⁣
⁣
This is a question that couples ask often, and understandably so. There isn’t one answer: some couples feel more at ease if I stand with them for the majority of their ceremony (I’m a strong third wheel to assist with any nerves). Others prefer I waver in and out as necessary.⁣
⁣
Here’s an example of what most Gathered ceremonies look like, featuring my darlings Jess & Ben. ⁣
⁣
✔️ Moral support for the person waiting at the top of the aisle during introduction, edging off to the side as the walk begins. ⁣
✔️ Present during Legal Vows & Ring Exchange ⁣
✔️ Never in view for personal Vows ⁣
✔️ You won’t catch my presence during your first kiss or the recession. ⁣

Every ceremony is different depending on what a couple wants, and that’s the beauty of it 🫶🏻

Ella & Corey turned a blank canvas into a whimsical party that invited the fun from the moment they said ‘I DO’. They chose to do their Vows after their ceremony in private, a move that made their ceremony calmer for them as individuals. I loved this: a reminder to do what’s right for YOU 🫶🏻⁣
⁣
The set up, the tunes, the champagne tower & their down to earth and experienced vendors made for a wedding that was stunning to look at, beautiful to listen to, filled up bellies & bought the dance floor to life. What more could you want? Thanks for having me legends! ⁣

I sat in a cafe across from G&J only a couple of months before their big day. They didn’t fuss: they got engaged after years of holding space for their many friends, they knew who their preferred vendors were and their stars had recently aligned which resulted in a home-made venue. The date worked, and it was all hands on deck. ⁣
⁣
We married them on their vacant block, with ocean views and the sun blessing their dreams in every way. It was milestone heavy, with emotional snippets perfectly balanced against banter & braun. Sophisticated, stylish, heartfelt and uniquely personalised. ⁣
⁣
Their love is the kind that allows you to show up exactly as you are. For eachother and for all those that they adore. It was a privilege. Here’s to the Jackman’s 🖤

Weddings on home properties just hit different. They are already canvases of treasured memories and a space of safety and comfort. So then when you add your creative touches, turn it into the picture from your dreams and then add the footprints of everyone you love….well, need I say more. Special, is the understatement. ⁣

Jess & Ben held their big day on her parents property and showered it with details in every corner. The florals were created by Jess’ sister and even their little Sunnie held a special role 🐾 ⁣

A stunning ceremony to (almost) finish my wedding season, I won’t forget this one in a hurry x

What a bloody vibe. I’m still swooning over these two and their creativity, and look, to be frank they were too cool for me. To make it worse, they are also the sweetest, down to earth duo going around, so they have no idea how cool they actually are 😎⁣
⁣
Philly & Alex stole my heart the minute they said hello and upon learning about them, I too fell in love with their love (don’t even start me on their Vows). Their ceremony space represented them so perfectly & their fearless approach to being true to themselves was commendable.⁣
⁣
Here’s to the Vandertogt’s and their lifelong debate about whether slippers are allowed on the couch x

Kadee created an absolute vision, a wedding wonderland that was classic & timeless and accompanied by the perfect balance of feminine and masculine touches. ⁣

I adored writing their love story & found myself struggling to keep it to a limit. A couple that cheerlead eachother like no other, play joyfully, banter at the right times, and love hard unconditionally. ⁣

I’ve gone to write this one a few times, but none of my words do it justice. Millie & Shaun are not only the kindest, most gentle yet fun & creative individuals, but they also share a love that stopped me in my tracks. For the first time in 5 years, I felt like I was watching their ceremony as a guest, not just delivering it. ⁣
