I waited just over a year to get this duo hitched and gosh we had fun planning and preparing. Teleah & Jayden share a love for playful banter and being in their presence made me so relaxed and carefree. I’ll next forget Teleah asking me for a cuddle before she walked down the aisle 🥹⁣

Vendors in this industry often share feedback and testimonials from couples, as do I, but it goes both ways. When you get to work with a couple that fill your cup as much as you fill theirs on their big day, it goes without saying that you are aligned in the best way. ⁣

I adore these two people. They have the biggest hearts, the most genuine personalities and a way of nurturing others that I’m not sure either of them realise. ⁣

Reading their love stories and narrating their journey thus far for their guests was fun, enchanting and above all, a privilege. From start to end, Tayla & Ian were a fairytale. ⁣

I’m not even going to attempt to soft land into this one because I have so much to say about Sam & Fletcher’s nuptials 😍⁣
⁣
The venue: the perfect DIY with quiet surroundings, ample space and vineyard views ✔️ ⁣
⁣
The party: proud parents, excited guests, groomsmen with the banter & bridesmaids with sweet emotions. A ceremony that 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 tuned into eagerly, with high hype and plenty of laughs ✔️ ⁣
⁣
The DRESS. Speechless. Sam looked as stunning as she acts and she quite literally made my heart skip ✔️ ⁣
⁣
I could tick for days. The florals. The violinist. The incredibly sweet coordinators who looked after me & Fletcher, the most sincere, gold hearted gentleman. ⁣

Paishe & Shane, what a bloody vibe 🔥 it’s been almost two weeks since we linked these guys for life. Boy do they know how to combine love and laughter in the most perfect way. ⁣

An afternoon ceremony at the picturesque South Perth Yatch Club that was styled by our favourites, and captured by the best ⁣
⁣
I love a family affair, there’s nothing better than marrying couples who already know your work. Paishe & Shane have had a beautiful love story & they are so adored by their people. Their ceremony space felt equal parts emotional & exciting. ⁣

This time last week we were standing inside the stunning white chapel at getting Sara & Cameron hitched.⁣
⁣
The first thing I noticed when I arrived was that not only were their florals insanely aesthetically pleasing, but you could SMELL them. You can rarely smell the florals during ceremonies as 95% of ceremony spaces are outside, so this was divine! ⁣
⁣
I’ll miss working with these two, so excuse me whilst I swoon over their photos for the next year. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Edwards 🥂

𝘼𝙢𝙮 & 𝙀𝙧𝙞𝙘 ⁣

I knew well ahead of time that this day was going to be magical. With their talented line up of vendors & Amy’s reputation for knowing exactly where whimsical moments in time occur, it was a given. ⁣
⁣
But gosh, did their ceremony outdo my expectations. ⁣
⁣
Not just because it was beautiful and pretty and all things soft on the eye, but because of the feeling within the space they created.
⁣
Amy & Eric made choices that felt natural to them and they followed their instincts. They spent the morning at home, held a traditional tea ceremony and arrived at their wedding together, peaking at their guests from inside the stunning second floor of Lamont’s. They both walked the isle with their beloved parents, and they incorporated Korean customs into their ceremony. What occurred was a magical dance between their love story so far, their rituals and some of the most personal and endearing vows I have had the privilege of hearing. If I ever need a ghost writer, I’ll be calling them both. ⁣
⁣
Working with Amy & Eric, especially when crafting the narration of their love story, reminded me that love is paying attention without rushing. It flourishes when we stop interrupting it, and love really can completely paint your world in colour. ⁣
⁣
They share a bond that goes beyond the bounds of adoration and I felt so privileged to be a part of the start of their forever 💫 ⁣

I couldn’t have dreamt up a better way to kick off peak season 😍⁣
⁣
Rain is always something that couples fear on their wedding day but believe me, when the time comes your care factor will fly across the crop. The show must go on, and for this sweet duo the drops where light & completely disappeared the moment it was go time. Might be their angels above, might be luck, might be fate. Who knows, but weather aside, Holly & Lachlan’s ceremony is now etched in my heart.⁣

I have never seen a post that resonates with the focus of my business more. I was equal parts excited & emotional when I saw this this morning, shared by

I tell my couples in our very first meeting that celebrating our rights of passage (rituals, ceremonies, milestones) is so unbelievably underestimated. Which is why I harp on about how paramount it is to SOAK IT IN.

Often our biggest moments aren’t realised until they are a memory. Until we can’t go back. Until people have passed.

Hold it like it matters. This is your chance to do it your way 🫶🏻

The only thing better than becoming friends with my couples after their ceremony, is performing a ceremony for a couple I am already friends with 🥹⁣
⁣
Sure, the pressure is higher and the emotions are harder to compress, especially when you have been privy to what life has thrown at them. Kirst was actually the MC at my wedding (because she’s bloody fun & incredibly articulate), so hitching her to her soul mate was a privilege and a highlight for my little biz. ⁣
⁣
The vendor crew was next level and I’d recommended every one of them in a heartbeat. Also, (IYKYK) 🍷

1. Your son as your Ring Barrier will leave a golden memory in your heart for life.

2. is incredibly talented, I spent an hour before this ceremony just watching, in awe. The colours, the scents, the styling. High level talent.

3. captured the essence of Erin & Scott so perfectly. They really do look this lush in real life.

4. I don’t have favourites but would be in my MySpace top favs if it was still a thing.

This is a question that couples ask often, and understandably so. There isn’t one answer: some couples feel more at ease if I stand with them for the majority of their ceremony (I’m a strong third wheel to assist with any nerves). Others prefer I waver in and out as necessary.⁣
⁣
Here’s an example of what most Gathered ceremonies look like, featuring my darlings Jess & Ben. ⁣

✔️ Moral support for the person waiting at the top of the aisle during introduction, edging off to the side as the walk begins. ⁣
✔️ Present during Legal Vows & Ring Exchange ⁣

✔️ You won’t catch my presence during your first kiss or the recession. ⁣

Every ceremony is different depending on what a couple wants, and that’s the beauty of it 🫶🏻
