💕Introducing... Rosie and Zoe (and Wesley 🐈 & Zagreus 🐈) 💕

After meeting on their first day of Uni 16 years ago, these two lovelies will be tying the knot (literally) next month.

I have loved chatting to them about the life they've built and the experiences they've had together. From travelling the world in a tiny cabin with Semester at Sea, moving across the country, becoming cat mum's (swipe to the end for cat cuteness), to starting a creative business together (they can be seen peddling their wares in pic 3).

I'm going to be marrying them in an intimate ceremony at and it's gonna be such a lovely celebration of their boundless love for each other 🥰

I can't wait!

Introducing... Nick & Yasmin (and Stanley 😍) 💖🪩

Boy, am I excited for this one!

I first met Yasmin and Nick at in February, and we vibed straight away.

They're loads of fun, are huge music lovers and bloody love a gig. Yasmin is also a fellow swiftie (the best type of person 😁).

Recently they also added to their little family by welcoming Stanley, their new pup. (Scroll to the end for more Stanley 🐕)

They've getting married at next November, and it's going to be AMAZING! Can't wait for our initial 'get to know you' meetup later this month 💕

One thing I love doing with my couples just after they book me, is having an initial 'get to know you' in-person meet up over pints, coffee, brunch, whatever you like...

I like to meet in a place that is special to you. Your local wine bar, a cafe you love, or even the pub you're getting married in (you babes know who you are 😉).

I'll be able to get a real feel for you as a couple and hear snippets of your story properly for the first time, and you will get comfortable with the person you'll be spilling all your relationship tea to, and who will be standing up there with you on your big day. Building this rapport is the basis of us creating your amazing wedding ceremony together.

These meet ups are also great for throwing round initial ideas for your ceremony; What you know you do want and what you definitely don't 🙅🏼‍♀️, exploring surprise or symbolic elements that excite you and just generally getting you excited about your ceremony 🥰

But equally, these meetups are for chatting s**t, a famously great way of getting to know each other 🤣. Previous off-wedding topics have included Dungeons and Dragons, Drag Race, THAT Saltburn scene 🛁, the Taylor Swift Eras tour 🪩 and our top Facebook marketplace and vinted bargains.

Happy Transgender Day of Visibility!

With all the vitriol, misinformation and scapegoating that is being spewed within the media, governments around the world, and even sometimes within the LGBTQ+ community itself (soz but LGB without the T will never be a thing 🖕🏼), it's more and more important to be visible in our allyship with the Trans community.

Our gender identities are just one part of who we are as people, and as a general rule, when we disregard others for the parts we don't personally relate to, we will always miss out on beautiful connections with amazing people.

I won't speak for the Trans community, so I wanted to share some of my favorite accounts belonging to Trans and non-binary folks:

Introducing... Beth & Arron 💓

I'm so excited to be marrying these two lovely people in October this year at their beautiful venue, The Yoghurt Rooms in East Grinstead.

The two met at a ballroom dancing club, and have been dancing together ever since. They've since moved around the country together, settling in London with their multitude of plant children (each having lovingly been given a backstory by Arron 🌱🌵).

They are both keen environmentalists, with Arron growing up in the Woodcraft Folk, and Beth working in sustainability. So we've had some exciting chats about including a tree planting in their ceremony ☺️

We met up at their local wine bar a few weeks ago for an initial 'get to know you' and got sidetracked, spending most of the time talking about D&D and Baldur's Gate 3 (our joint recent obsession 🤓), but we did manage to also throw about some very cool ceremony ideas...
