Thank you for your understanding and patience during the festival. We strive to provide the best experience for our attendees, and we are sorry for any disappointment caused by the technical and logistical difficulties.

We want to assure you that we are actively working to rectify the situation and ensure that such issues are not repeated in future events. The DCVybe band is incredibly talented, and we understand the anticipation to hear their full set. However, we didn’t have enough time to allow them to finish.

We appreciate your support and the positive feedback we received for the event. It is our goal to continue organizing memorable experiences for all attendees. We value your continued patronage and hope to see you at our future events, where we will strive to bring you exceptional entertainment and a seamless experience.

1. Where will the Summer Soul Cigar & Music Festival be held? The festival will be held at the Charles County Fairgrounds, 8440 Fairground Rd, La Plata, MD 20646, on Saturday September 2, 2023.

2. What is the age minimum to attend the Summer Soul Cigar & Music Festival? This is an adult event, you must be 21 with a government issued ID to enter and to purchase wine and alcohol.

3. What time does the festival start and end? Gates for the festival will open at 12 noon, showtime will start at 1:00 pm and the festival will end promptly at 8:00 pm (this is a rain or shine festival).

4. Can I pay at the gate if I have not purchased a ticket in advance? Yes, you can pay at the gate the day of the festival.

5. What should I leave at home? NO alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the premises, all alcohol will be sold by Summer Sky Entertainment. There is a 100% cooler check! NO weapons, pets, grills, hookahs, or cooking devices are allowed. Anyone caught with these items will be asked to leave.

6. Can I bring my own tent or umbrella to the festival? NO outside tents or umbrellas are permitted, you are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets for your comfort.

7. Will there be food sold at the festival? Yes, the festival has secured some wonderful local food vendors selling a variety of foods.

8. Can I bring a cooler to the festival? Yes, you are permitted to bring a cooler to the festival for water, soda, juice or to store cold food items. There is a 100% cooler check, no outside alcohol!

9. Can I bring outside food to the festival? Outside food is permitted, however we encourage patrons to support the wonderful food vendors that will be onsite.

10. Will there be onsite parking at the festival? Yes, onsite parking is available. Early arrival is strongly suggested.

11. What comes with my tent purchase? All tents include 4 tickets and 1 bottles of wine. Your tent will be set up and inspected, please bring your blankets and lawn chairs for your comfort.

12. How will tent purchasers get their complimentary bottle of wine? Upon arrival, visit the Festival Check-In Tent and provide your tent number and name of the tent purchaser to receive your free bottle of wine.
