What to do on a rainy Friday? Take pictures of my beautiful flowers.

First summer growing dahlias and wow are they spectacular. Although very expensive and I lost about 10 I’m not giving up!

So troubling and heartbreaking for the farmers never mind us home owners.

Our yards and gardens is one thing and some even had backup and flooded basements but to lose all those crops.

Here’s how high the water is again in my yard but water, trees and branches I can live with. Sooo grateful no tornado or my favourite tree down.

Anyone looking for seed potatoes? I have planted as much as I need but have a cart left over begging to be planted. These are all left over from my garden last season. I will go and take a picture of the cartful for a visual.

So a few little birdies told me that the weather is suppose to be turning nice and we are about to get some warmer weather.

Any of you looking for red canna lily bulbs? You pick the ones you wish to purchase at 3$ a bulb. I also have morning glory seeds and white angel trumpet seeds.

Hopefully next year I will have an assortment of 8 varieties of dalhalia tubers.

Just about ready to start planting if the weather would just cooperate.

I had tilled all the smaller garden areas but ended up tilling the big garden in anticipation of rain this weekend- but snow lol.

I was also hoping the weather would warm up so I can put my Lillie’s in the pond but Mother Nature has different plans.

So edging and picking up the debris left from the crazy high winds and mucking out the barn we’re on my to do list.

It started off cloudy and a bit cool but turned into a beautiful sunny day.

Perfect for tilling and so that was on the list for today.

So blessed that I can still enjoy my passion of digging and playing in the dirt. Can’t wait to get my flowers outside and in the ground.

Almost done I’d say 3/4 of the leaves and raking. Picked up all the piles but the ones at the play structure so that’s progress. First day we didn’t have crazy tornado winds.

One little two little three little twenty piles.

I thought I got most of the leaves in the fall but my piles are quickly adding up and I have blisters to prove it lol.
