Well, seeing that fall is here, it’s that time for cleaning up the yard, harvesting the gardens, taking down dead trees and getting firewood ready for the winter.

Another task was to open up the area down at the river so when you’re looking out the window you have a nice view. I also want to be able to see my snowmobile friends when they zoom by and hopefully come in and visit.

Fall is officially here and the leaves have been falling gently and now the yellow and orange hues tell the tale. Hoping...

Fall is officially here and the leaves have been falling gently and now the yellow and orange hues tell the tale.

Hoping for a nice September yet to enjoy the flowers but neighbouring communities have already seen frost.

Took a few pictures of the work Rob has been doing cleaning up the back yard down at the river and berm. I think this is the cleanest we’ve had it before the leaves fall.

It appears I am not the only one that is confused about what the heck happened to my beautiful canna Lillie’s.

Usually mine are taller then me and in bloom by mid to late July and here it is mid to late August and not one bloom.

I started mine indoors and when I planted them there were already two feet tall.

Just before my Just Because Party I decided to get crackin and redo my back yard from my puppy digging it up.

A few pictures showing how nice the grass and edging turned out.

I almost have a back yard again but it’s still not ready for the dogs to run and rip up the new grass.

Also a couple other flower pictures as we are moving away from summer and “WEEDS” haha.

Got the last of the 4x4’s in and the solar cap and plant hook all on.

Also I finally planted my perennial grasses and my purple angel trumpets.

Now just cooking supper over the fire pit again tonight. Four nights in a row enjoying the beautiful weather and cooking outside.

Well I finally finished all the edging and spreading of top soil and grass seed.

Just have to add more ferns and Iris at the end of the season and that’s another project finally done.

Almost bit off more then I could chew on that one lol.
