Welcome to ! I can finally say that since is upon us - the time of year we celebrate spring with family, food, games and we start up the season’s
first batch of ! Oh, you don’t know of this tradition? Well, that’s OK. Now you do, friend. And you’re welcome!
Corn
Ingredients :
5 gallons of water
8.5 pounds of cracked corn
1.5 pounds of crushed malted barley
Turbo yeast

Instructions :
Heat water to 165 F
Turn off the heat source and immediately stir in the cracked corn
Stir continuously for 10 minutes
Check the temperature and stir the mixture every 5 minutes until the temperature cools to 152
F
When the mixture has cooled to 152 F, stir in the crushed malted barley
Check the temperature and stir every 20 minutes until the mixture has cooled to 70 F
When the mixture has cooled to 70 F, add the turbo yeast
Ferment for approximately 10 days at room
temperature
Strain through a cheesecloth
Distill
