Hello everyone, Anime Club this month is Saturday May 9th 1-4pm in Chaz’s corner at Realms Arcade! Join us for anime discussion and Trivia.

Thanks to the lovely folks over at the knit boise, the overall trivia MVP for the next FOUR anime clubs will receive a pair of tickets to The Living Tombstone Multiplayer Show at the knitting factory on Friday, October 2!

Every month the anime club selects a new anime for us to watch then the next month we meet to discuss it.

For this meeting get ready to compare “Trigun: Stampede” and “Trigun: Stargaze.”

Our trivia games always have categories from the show we watched over the last month, so to have the best chance at winning those tickets be sure to do as Kappamaki says and come to club!

Anime Idaho is excited to have Dedicated Servers Rocking our Music Stage at Anime ID 2026!

Dedicated Servers is a hip hop group made up of rappers Dave the Fave and MCMD, and DJ Spin Master Mugen. With nearly two decades of music under their belt, they blend funk, house, and jazz with witty lyrics packed with gaming and wrestling references — and their live shows are guaranteed to get you moving.

They’re pumped to be at Anime ID, and can’t wait to hit the stage, check out the cosplay, and meet fellow fans of the culture.

We’re incredibly excited to welcome Kirk Thornton as a guest of honor at Anime ID 2026!

Kirk Thornton had solid careers in the theatre, film, and tv industry before discovering VO. Directors
found he had a talent for dubbing, so he was lucky enough to be trusted with roles like Askeladd
in Vinland Saga, Gabumon & the various Gaurumons in Digimon, Jin in Samuari Champloo,
Tanjuro in Demon Slayer, Kisime and Shukaku in Naruto, Yujiro Hanma in Baki, Klein in Sword
Art Online, Don Patch in Bobobo and Saito in Kenshin to name a few.

His game roles include Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog, Igor in various Persona games, Siax in
Kingdom Hearts, Jade Curtis in Tales of the abyss, Benjamin Bayu in Starfield, The Last of 2,
Shadows of Mordor and others too numerous to mention. Other projects include Star Wars: The
Clone Wars, Love, Death & Robots, Clarence, Hotel Transylvania & Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest
Hero’s. He also has extensive directing credits that include Final Fantasy VII Remake, Fantasy
VII Rebirth, Kingdom Hearts and WWE Smackdown VS Raw.

Hey everyone, Anime Club this month is Sunday April 12th 1-4pm in Chaz’s corner at Realms Arcade!

Join us for the regular anime discussion and Trivia with a twist.

Thanks to the lovely folks over at the knitting factory, the overall trivia MVP for the next five anime clubs will receive a pair of tickets to The Living Tombstone Multiplayer Show at the knitting factory on Friday, October 2.

As our previous attendees know, every month the anime club selects a new anime for us to watch then the next month we meet to discuss it. This month was Trigun 1998! Our trivia games always have categories from the show we watched over the last month, so to have the best chance at winning be sure to do as Kappamaki says and come to club!

Anime ID is incredibly excited to welcome Kari Wahlgren as a guest of honor at Anime ID 2026!

Kari Wahlgren was first introduced to anime audiences as the voice of Haruko in "FLCL." Since then, she has voiced hundreds of characters in anime, animation and video games.

Her anime roles include Saber in Fate Zero and Fate Stay Night, Celty in Durarara, Fuu in Samurai Champloo, Dee Eye Ell in Sword Art Online, Anemone in Eureka 7, Tayuya in Naruto, and Kagami in Lucky Star, and Grandma Seiko in DandaDan.

She played the voice of Jessica, Rick's Spaceship and Diane in Rick and Morty, Zatanna in DC Superhero Girls, Starfire in the DC Teen Titans movies, Tigress in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Charmcaster in Ben 10, Shellsea in Fish Hooks, Anka in Archer, Emma Frost in Wolverine and the X-Men, and Saturn Girl and Phantom Girl in Young Justice.
Her videogame roles include Kitana and Mileena in Mortal Kombat 11 and 1, Harley Quinn in Gotham Knights, Aranea in Final Fantasy XV, Ashe in Final Fantasy XII, Starfire in Injustice 2, the Female Jedi Knight in Star Wars: the Old Republic, and Raine in Tales of Symphonia. Anime ID 2026 tickets are officially on sale!

Plan your con season ahead of time and pick up your Anime ID tickets today

Buying early lets you pick up your badge before the convention at one of our badge pick up events

It allows you to use the will-call line on con days to get into the venue faster and avoid long lines

Additionally, this year we'd like to thank our early bird supporters! The first two hundred General Admission (adult) two day passes sold will come with an exclusive chibi Ida enamel pin!

IMPORTANT: To get your enamel pin, be sure to purchase the designated early bird ticket at checkout. Pin only available with the purchase of adult two day passes. Pins must be claimed in person at the door of the convention or at an early badge pickup event.

Get ready, Idaho, because legendary voice actor Lex Lang is coming to Anime ID! With over 500 credits to his name, Lex has brought to life a wide assortment of fan-favorite
characters in Anime, Video Games, Animation, and TV.

In anime, Lex is widely recognized as Suguru Geto in the smash hit Jujutsu Kaisen, but his other notable roles include Wargreymon in Digimon, Goemon in Lupin the Third, Teuchi, the
Ichiraku Ramen Guy, and Hayate in Naruto, Sanosuke Sagara in Rurouni Kenshin, Jagged Stone in Miraculous Ladybug, and Goku in the Toonami Asia release of Dragonball Super.

Video game fans will recognize him as Dr. Neo Cortex in the Crash Bandicoot franchise, Kiljeaden in World of Warcraft, The Stone and Fire Trolls in God of War, Charr Male in Guild
Wars, and Han Solo, Poe Dameron and Stormtroopers in Star Wars Video Games.

Lex has also made his mark in mainstream animation and TV shows, voicing several Warner Bros and DC characters, such as Batman, Dr. Doom, Captain Cold, Clayface, and Captain Atom on shows like Batman Brave and the Bold, Justice League, and Legion of Superheroes. He is also The Doorman and his dog Hundley on Curious George, Barry on The Regular Show, Major Vonreg on Star Wars Resistance, and The Candlemaker on Doom Patrol.

Anime ID is incredibly excited to announce Kaiji Tang as a guest of honor at Anime ID 2026!

An avid lover of gaming and all things food-related, Kaiji Tang has been working as a voice actor in Los Angeles CA since 2007. He's known for evergreen performances across smash hit anime and video games series, perhaps most recognizable as the voice of Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen. He has worked on other fan favorites series too, bringing life to Sanemi Shinazugawa from Demon Slayer, Gearless Joe from Meglobox, Osamu Dazai from Bungo Stray Dogs, Eustace from Granblue Fantasy: Versus, and Ichiban Kasuga of the Yakuza: Like a dragon series.

Join us on September 19th and 20th at The Center on the Canyon County Fairgrounds to catch one of his feature panels, grab an autograph, or just say hi!
