🚴♀️ Get Ready for the NZ National School Road Championships 2025! 🚴♂️
Mark your calendars! The 2025 NZ National School Road Championships are set to take place from 21–23 September in the Manawatū Region, proudly organised by the Cycling New Zealand Events Team.
This annual event brings together the best young riders from across Aotearoa, showcasing talent, teamwork, and fierce competition across three thrilling days of racing.
🗓️ Event Schedule
Sunday 21 Sept – Team Time Trial at Rongotea
Monday 22 Sept – Road Race at Halcombe
Tuesday 23 Sept – Points Race at Manfeild
👥 Race Categories
Individual Events:
Boys & Girls: U20, U17, U16, U15, U14, U13
Age is calculated as at 31 December 2025
Team Time Trial (TTT):
Senior (U20): 5 riders (time taken on 4th rider)
Junior (U16) & Year 7/8: 4 riders (time taken on 3rd rider)
All competitors must be enrolled in Year 7 or above
Three days of competitive racing on varied courses that test speed, endurance, and strategy—this is a must-attend event for school-aged riders aiming to make their mark on the national stage.
All events take place in the stunning Manawatū Region, offering ideal terrain and top-notch race conditions for both team and individual performances.
