Save the Date for The East Cottingwith Feast -
6 September 2025 1pm till late

As a small committee we are trying to put on the feast to our usual high standards but we are struggling this year.

We need your help to ensure the feast goes ahead.

Can you take on something from the list below:
Running and sourcing prizes for the Raffle
Teddy Tombola
Welly Wanging
Cafe help
Bar help
Sourcing and running a book stall
Source lighting options for the evening of the event.
Help co-ordinate craft stalls

All help is greatly appreciated.

You are all welcome to join the committee and help with the coordination of the event.

🎅 Thank you to everyone who came out to visit us on our Festive Fun Day 14th December ☃️

🎄 Thank you to all the volunteers who kindly gave up their time to assist (far too many to individually mention, but thanks for your support💗)🎉

🍿🍤 Hopefully, there was something for all to enjoy during the day and night events 🎶

💰 Takings were much lower than in previous years. However, the FEast committee was still able to donate the mulled wine, childrens Christmas gifts, additional tree lights, £140 to the church, £140 to St Martins House and pay for the village hall hire, thanks to profits made from previous events 🎁

Lots going on this Saturday in East Cottingwith!
𝓔𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝔀𝓮𝓵𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮!!!
Raising funds for Martin House Children’s Hospice, St Marys, East Cottingwith Church and Village Hall.
𝘼𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙅𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙!

We kick off with a 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬!
KitchN cakes, and festive games!
𝐀 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧!
Kids can decorate at tree decoration for the Village Christmas Tree for a chance to turn on the 𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏𝙎!

Then head to the church for the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭!

Back at the Village Hall the 𝑷𝒐𝒑 𝒖𝒑 𝑷𝒖𝒃 opens!
Hot and cold drinks, available.

Meet at the Village Hall before the tree lighting and join us singing and walking to the Christmas Tree.

At the Christmas Tree there will be mulled wine and mince pies and more singing!

Back at the Village Hall the 𝑷𝒐𝒑 𝒖𝒑 𝑷𝒖𝒃 continues where we will be joined by 𝐉𝐉’𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐯𝐚𝐧!
