Nindot kaayo diri sa Camp Forrest . Ang imong ₱250/person nga overnight camping, medyo sulit na — naa nay free WiFi, nindot pud ilang comfort room, ug naa sad shower. Free pud ang parking, ug libre ra gamiton ang mga tables, benches sa maka una lang, nga naa sa campsite.

Ang camping diri during ting-init, dili kaayo sakit sa adlaw kay masalipdan ra sa mga tag-as nga kahoy, mao nga hamugaway ug relaxing. Inig ting-tulog, strikto pud sila — mingaw, dili saba, kay naa silay balaod nga curfew ug silent hours during the night.

Ayaw kalimot — always leave no trace para limpyo ug nindot gihapon ang lugar para sa sunod nga mga campers.

Pugal, the Celebrity Cat of Mt. Pulag – Update

Pugal has been safely brought down from Mt. Pulag and is now in the custody of the DENR. Domestic animals, especially cats, are not allowed in protected areas like Mt. Pulag due to the threat they pose to native wildlife.

While this decision is understandable and respected—since even well-loved cats like Pugal are natural predators that can disrupt sensitive ecosystems—many hearts are heavy. Pugal had made a home on the mountain, earned the affection of hikers, and brought joy to many.

The DENR has informed us that someone has already adopted Pugal, and he will be relocated to Bokod. We had also offered to care for him to ensure he’d be neutered and vaccinated, but an adopter has already committed. We plan to follow up with them once they are reachable (they are currently in an area with no signal).

Thank you to everyone who cared for Pugal and to those who continue to advocate for both animal welfare and environmental protection. May we always strive to balance compassion with conservation. 🤗🐾
