Influenced by her re-discovery of dubstep, Corran draws from 90s and 00s electronic music to craft an intricate symphony of all things weighty and wonky.

Her diverse musical tastes and background in classical music bring a distinctive sense of musicality and storytelling to her sets. Combining technical skill with intuition, she pushes genre boundaries, blending vocals and melodies with infectious danceability. Having made her mark on the local scene with performances at venues like The Berkeley Suite and Bongo Club, as well as festivals such as Kelburn and TRNSMT, Corran curates a sound that both encapsulates and evolves the essence of the Scottish underground dance music scene.

đź’ˇARTIST SPOTLIGHT: REUBN đź’ˇ

REUBN is a multi-genre drum and bass DJ emerging from the Southwest of Scotland. Inspired by bass culture, REUBN has shaped his sound to deliver a unique blend of neurofunk, jump up, roller, liquid and jungle.

Picking up his first set of decks just 3 years ago, REUBN quickly found passion and pushed hard to perfect his craft. That dedication paid off when he secured his debut booking at PrayToGood, supporting Refracta and Coben.

With momentum building, he threw himself deeper into the scene, making a strong impression at Dranged Collective’s open-deck nights.

His sound didn’t go unnoticed. Soon after, he became a proud resident of Glasgow’s heavyweight crew, Dranged Collective, solidifying his place in Scotland’s ever-growing drum and bass community.

Another DJ we’re proud to have making their Contrabass debut next week!

Belgian born DJ .blw blends jungle, jump up, bassline and 140 with inspiration from 90s drum and bass and UK soundsystem culture.

Shaped by both the Belgian and London underground scenes, her sets focus on high energy, heavy bass and long blends built for the late night dancefloors.

She has played at iconic Edinburgh venues including Bongos and Sneaky Pete’s, bringing a mix of old
school rave energy and modern underground bass music to every set.

We look forward to her Contrabass debut next Tuesday 26th of May at in Glasgow. Tickets on Resident Advisor 🎟️🔗

CONTRABASS PRESENTS: LOCAL LEGENDS #2

After such a successful debut in January this year, we make our return to Glasgow for Local Legends #2 at on Tuesday 26th of May 2026.

On decks this time we have , , .dnb and .blw showcasing a whole range of local talent across the drum and bass spectrum.
