At Maryland Meadworks enjoying great music at the R.E.M. tribute. The mead is terrific as always. And the alcohol slushiesvarevto die for. Also, great company, including the gentleman who was nice enough to share his table with us, who worked with Art Wood.

As mentioned on tonight's show, the wonderful Maryland Meadworks could use some help. Saturday night, July 18th, they are having an R.E.M. Tribute Night to fundraise. Yes, I'm about to make all of my GenX brethren feel OLD. It was 40 years ago tha R.E.M. released "Life's Rich Pageant" (yeah, go cry in your beer now). There is no cover charge, just the opportunity to listen to some great music, drink some awesome mead, and make a donation to help save a wonderfully inclusive place.

Doors open at 6pm. Music starts at 7pm. I'll be there. Will you?
