We thought it was about time we revealed who is behind Glam for the Gram NZ ❤️

We are the ladies behind this business, both mum's, both working other jobs and sisters. We have an amazing family who also help us out on big jobs, whether that be partners, parents, siblings or children, blowing up balloons (gotta get past Shines quality checks tho 😂), setting up and packing down shimmer walls, looking after our children while we work late nights or are MIA for a weekend - we are so privileged and lucky for those behind the scenes supporting and cheering us on.

Glam started as an idea when Shiney planned a surprise birthday for her bestie and was looking into decoration ideas, Gabrielle has always been so talented and creative and Shiney has a good mind for business, so after many phone calls we decided we would do the decorations and backdrop ourselves, Shiney made a backdrop and Gabrielle made a balloon garland.

After the event this little business idea began to burn away in Shiney's head and she couldn't shake that it may be a good thing for them to give a crack, one thing about our family is we absolutely love a party and we don't do things by halves, parties and being over the top is in our blood hahaha. Staying at home with her baby and researching products and props she thought that between the two of them they had what it takes to create a wee side hustle with the hopes of it growing, so we invested our savings and imported some props, we researched techniques and balloon brands which are biodegradable and thought we'd give it a crack - then covid happened and the idea basically went out the window as did many other things, life got busy and living got expensive and glam went on the back burner for a bit.

But we are here, we love creating, we have beautiful backdrops, and we would still absolutely love to hear from you regarding any special events you have coming up that we could potentially help with.

We felt so incredibly honoured to be asked to do this beautiful backdrop and balloon garland to support having her first book published and officially released for sale.

We picked the balloon colours to match her beautiful book cover and had our black shimmer wall as a backdrop to create a moody vibe 🖤

How good is it seeing other women smash their goals?
We know this book is going to do incredibly well and we are so thankful we were able to be included in such a special moment in your life and career.

They make for a beautiful statement backdrop and are definitely eye-catching, they are HUGE in the UK and we feel so lucky to be able to offer them to our customers 🥰

Was so fab setting our black shimmer wall and balloon garland up this afternoon for a 21st 🥂 We hope the birthday girl has an amazing night celebrating with all her loved ones. Our shimmer wall is 2.4 x 2.4 meters (can be made smaller) it's definitely an eye catcher for birthdays and celebrations ❤️

It's an exciting day today for us 😍

We have been waiting a very long for these new products - unfortunately with covid shipping took way longer than expected 😭 So we have eagerly been waiting for our new stock while keeping quiet about it 🤫

We had not wanted to promote it untill we had it in our own hands for a couple or reasons, 1 we wanted to quality check it and 2 we didn't want to take bookings we may not have been able to keep.

But now that it is here we are beyond excited so please watch this space! ❤️

We will also not be discriminating against anyone vaccinated or unvaccinated 🫂
