When Jacquie and James first emailed me to say “it’s our turn!” — I could’ve cried. I met them years ago at Jacquie’s sister’s wedding, where they were Maid of Honour and MC (and just all round legends).

Being invited back into the same family for another celebration is honestly one of the biggest honours.

Their day at Somerleys couldn’t have been more perfect.

Blue skies, crisp air, the most elegant palette of soft blues, whites, and greens and the most epic dance floor vibes.

We leaned into classic styling with thoughtful details: grapes and hydrangeas, lots of textural fabric, and candlelight that danced into the night.

One of those days I’ll be replaying in my head for a long time.

“Loose unit luxury”—a wedding brief I didn’t know I needed, but now want for everyone.

From the moment Claire told me their vibe was equal parts party and polished, I knew we were in for a fun ride.

She put full trust in me from day one, and every time I checked in, her response was basically, “whatever you think.” (A dream.)

When I handed her the bouquet, it felt like delivering flowers to one of my besties.

Claire & Darren, your day was electric, and I loved every minute of bringing it to life. Cheers to many more parties, loose units, and all the love. 🥂✨
