Jez & Claire 💛
Mid-week, mid-flood, and full of love — Jez and Claire pulled off one hell of a wedding right in the middle of one of the biggest weather events NSW has seen in a while. Roads were cut off, some guests couldn’t get through, but nothing was stopping these two legends from saying "I do."

Jez had his own dad standing proudly by his side as best man. Claire flipped the script and had her brother as her man of honour

We even had a surprise video-gram from Jez’s “lord and saviour” (his words, not mine) – the one and only Andrew ‘Joey’ Johns 🎥👏

And because these two share a love for getting their hands dirty in the garden, every guest went home with seeds to plant — the ultimate symbol of growth, patience, and love. 🌱

As for me? I’ve known Jez since he was in utero and when he reached the appropriate age I used to feed him lemons for fun— so naturally, I gifted the couple a lemon tree. 🍋

Rain, floods, and all, it was joy-filled, mud-splashed magic.

4 days and counting!

One of my favourite memories of Jez was when he was around 18 months old — we were having fish and chips on the beach at Scott's Head, and while his mum and dad had their backs turned, I (a cheeky 10-year-old at the time) gave him a wedge of lemon just to see his reaction. Safe to say, his face did not disappoint — I was in absolute stitches, and I don’t think his parents expected that kind of mischief from the kid they’d so kindly brought along on holidays! It was pure gold and straight into the memory bank.

Fast forward to when I had my own three children Jez tried the same lemon trick on them. But wouldn’t you know it — my lot love the taste of lemon. No funny faces. No drama. Just more lemon, please.

And then there’s Claire. From the moment I met her, it felt like she’d always been part of the family — like a missing puzzle piece finally slotted into place. It was love at first sight for us too. Every time you see her, you're met with a warm hug, and she’s the kind of person who gives so generously of her time, energy and conversation. We’re so lucky to have her.

Love you both and I can't wait to see you 😘😘😘

The five senses were truly engaged.
💕 Sara and Jordan 💕
The five senses were truly engaged.

From the sounds of the live band playing, to the scents of food cooking, every moment was immersive. The visuals were stunning — the vibrant flowers, fairy lights strung up and ready for nightfall, and the stunning color palette of the bride, groom, and their bridal party. The atmosphere was full of love, creating a warmth that you could almost touch. And of course, the words spoken in their personal vows were so heartfelt and emotional, they left me choked up- i remember the warmth, kindness and respect conveyed through their words- for the fluffy romantic in me, it hit the spot.

Two years ago in September, I had the honor of marrying Natalie and Daniel – my "test couple," if you will! 💍✨

The morning of their wedding, it was pouring rain, and we all huddled together under the reception shed, waiting for the weather to clear. It’s a day I’ll never forget, especially because Nat is not just a client but a lifelong friend. We grew up together in Newcastle, moved to Sydney after school, lived together at times, shared similar social circles, and walked through life’s highs and lows side by side.

From becoming mothers to losing our own mums, navigating the ups and downs of life, and raising three kids each, our friendship has remained a constant. It’s the kind of bond that’s stress-free and effortless. We see each other when we can, and nothing ever changes – it's always easy and filled with love.

Forever grateful to Natalie and Daniel, my first wedding couple, for trusting me with such a special day! 💕

Kat and Baine

Almost a year since these two tied the knot!
One of my favourite parts of this job is reconnecting with people I haven't seen for a while. I met Baine in High school almost 20 years ago. We had great rapport, we were and are still on the same wave length when it comes to humour.

Meeting Kat for the first time was like meeting an old friend; she is warm, open, honest and kind and I could see the deep love and respect these two have for each other.

Happy Anniversary for this week guys ###

This is me, sipping a marg in the beautiful sunshine- giving a silent cheers to my Mum. Grief is a funny thing, some days life is so big and wonderful and your grief feels small and on other days it can be like a cloud over your head.

Brock and Sienna's wedding happened to fall on my Mum's 6th anniversary, and my grief felt small for most of the day. 🙏❤️❤️❤️

I got up early, took myself to the gym, dropped the kids at school and set my intentions for the day. I knew I wouldn't be home for hugs so I stopped off at the fruit shop and got some flowers and chocolates and left them on the kitchen bench for the kids when they arrived home from school-they miss their Mimi too. It's funny how giving always makes you feel better, this little act of giving was as much for me as it was for the kids. It soothed my heart in many different ways.

The day was absolutely wonderful. I got to spend time with people I've known my whole life and also people that are special to Brock and Sienna. I learned some wrestling lingo and lines from their favorite TV shows. I even managed a dance with Valerie to the song Valerie (Amy Winehouse) how good is that! And we danced in the rain, very seriously to Tina Turner's Proud Mary! The chats and music in the tent late that night as the rain bucketed down were also good for the soul. Happy hearts all around! Love you guys 😘😘😘
