I can’t believe this is the first time officially showing my face on here so it’s time for an introduction! My name is Leandra Murphy; Owner and Lead Planner for Whispers of Wisteria.

Some facts about me:

• My event planning career began within the Boston Bruins Professional Hockey Organization directly after graduating from URI in 2016. I’ve have been there for over nine years. In 2021, I started my own wedding and event planning company; Whispers of Wisteria, completing my first wedding in the summer of 2022.

• My experience within the Bruins organization allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of event planning and design prior to launching my own company. I feel very fortunate that I’ve had the opportunity to execute various types of events, from all different perspectives in order to provide the highest level of service.

• Being a small part of a couple’s wedding journey allows me to blend my creativity with meaningful design, resulting in an experience that’s not only visually stunning but deeply personal.
