Ticket sales for our Summer Centerpiece class close this Wednesday! Join us to learn from Locust, a company inspired and animated by the natural world. Link to purchase tickets can be found in our profile.

At Locust, we define ourselves as a land-based practice, drawing guidance and movement from it. We strive to collaborate with nature, showcasing the essence of the present moment —bringing the outdoors in.

Our work highlights the colors, textures, and character of our shared home, celebrating the symbiotic relationship between land and practice, we work diligently to cultivate, which is vital to the distinction and beauty of our work— our ethos drives our vision and designs.

Come be an extension of this tenor. 🍃

This workshop is perfect for visually sensitive, nature-loving stewards. I look forward to creating alongside you!

We are so excited to be offering a 🌼 new floral workshop 🌼 specifically geared towards arranging a table centerpiece.

Join us for a summer afternoon of learning how to compose a sprawling summer centerpiece arrangement with fresh flowers from the summer garden, including interesting textures provided through vegetables and other unusual garden bounty.

Sarah will direct you towards success in designing a stunning table centerpiece, which will include learning about the principles of designing wild and visually stunning arrangements without floral foam, into a low vase to enjoy in- the -round.

This class is perfect for the DIY Bride, or novel florist. No previous floral design experience is required. This class fee includes the cost of a vase, floral mechanics, local flowers, and invaluable learning around contemporary and sustainable flower arranging!

We are excited to share that this year we will be judging the 's Art In Bloom program rather than participating!

We were honored to have been selected to judge this year’s contestants. There were so many beautiful and innovative designs, it was challenging to make the award decisions!

We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting a series of gardening 101 classes this Spring! It will be a great gift for the mothers in your life this holiday.

You can get the package deal of all three classes or get individual classes based on your needs. We will be focusing on flower gardening but you can easily apply everything we talk about to vegetable gardening as well. I grow a large vegetable garden with these same techniques. We will be teaching the specific techniques we use on Maypop. These classes are adapted for your own home garden or for those of you interested in growing at a larger production too! I’m very excited to share what we do in more detail and have our community out to the farm.

Class 1: garden planning and seeding may 18 10am-12pm.
Class 2: Bed preparation and planting June 1 10am-12pm.
Class 3: growing on in the field and harvesting
June 15 10am-12pm

Please share with your loved ones and let us know if you have any questions!
