Greetings everyone, Spring has sprung and Summer's comin' on strong! In just five weeks our Historic Campus will come alive with free live Music on Wednesday and Friday nights.
Before I list the new schedule, I'd like to offer a brief recap of the astonishing success of last year's Jamboree. With five attendance records set, beginning with 1200 people for our opening show by Brass From The Past and 2000 for our closing concert by Fortunate Sons, a new average attendance record of 1178 ( which factors in a rain shrunken turnout on June 28th), and record free will donations as well, 2024 gave us our best growth spurt yet, by far! Hearty thanks to all who helped make it happen! Kudos to the Village of Mt. Morris for investing in extra promotion of our fine program! And now, for our thirteenth season of the annual Mt. Morris Jamboree free concert series, we've got twelve Fridays and a few Saturdays scheduled with a variety of superb bands performing for your listening pleasure. All concerts are from 7-9 pm on the band shell, except for the Fourth and Fifth of July. Local charitable organizations will be serving food concessions on every Friday night from 6 pm on. Just 4 Fun Ice Cream will provide sweet treats and the MM Sr. and Community Center Popcorn Girls, Emmie and Lily will serve fresh popcorn on most nights, too. Here's your schedule for 2025.
