Tết can never be without a few rounds of games of friendly rivalry that somehow last for days. At Sum Vầy, we’ll be diving into cờ cá ngựa, bầu cua, xì dách (black jack) and lô tô.

These games might already are familiar, but playing them with strangers, new friends, and old ones brings back that childhood magic of how we used to make friends so easily, simply through playing together. This is our excuse to do just that, to revisit Tết xưa.

If this is your first Tết, it’s also a beautiful way to lean deeper into the culture. This is a very Kin side of Sum Vầy: meeting people, sharing moments, and seeing what grows ✨

[English below] Heo quay nguyên con từ lâu đã là món chỉ xuất hiện trong những dịp như cúng Tết, lễ lớn, những khoảnh khắc đánh dấu khởi đầu và lời chúc sung túc cho cả năm. Nên tụi mình nghĩ: còn gì đặc biệt hơn việc gọi hẳn một con heo sữa quay cho Sum Vầy?

Một màn chặt heo quay tại chỗ, da giòn rụm, thịt mềm ngọt ăn cùng bánh tiêu nóng hổi. Còn có thêm nem nướng, chè, đồ ngọt Tây lẫn Ta, rượu mơ. Tụi mình hứa bạn sẽ ra về với một chiếc bụng no.
