*Save the Date*

Ten years ago, I had the chance to meet Morange Makiko, an ikebana artist who has studied closely under Takenaka Reiko, Master Instructor from the Sogetsu School of Ikebana. With her passion for expression through plant materials, comes a unique approach that merges various art mediums. Her current signature interest is embroidering on plants, such as traveller's palm and aloe.

Currently, she works as an Assistant Instructor at Headquarters classes in Tokyo, along with providing her own lessons. It is a pleasure to invite her to Vietnam this spring for two public events in two very distinctive cities: Hanoi and Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). This is the first occasion that an Instructor from the Sogetsu Headquarters will be teaching in Vietnam. Open to everyone, with no ikebana experience required. Both events will be available in four languages: Vietnamese, English, Japanese, and French.

On Sunday morning, please join Ishikawa Misei for her demonstration for the opening of Sogetsu WEST ikebana school in Kyoto.

The demonstration will be conducted in English with Japanese subtitles. There will be various arrangements to show the beauty of transitioning into autumn with Ishikawa-sensei's unique and elegant characteristics.

Fee: 2000yen
Timing available twice on Sunday (Japan time).
