CHANCE Movie Night JUNE 🏳️‍🌈 Paris is Burning(1990)

This June, in the spirit of Pride Month, we're bringing one of the most powerful documentaries ever made to our monthly movie night. After the screening, we'll open the floor for a community discussion.

Paris is Burning(1990) takes us into the heart of New York City's underground ballroom scene - a world built by Black and Latino LGBTQ+ communities who created their own language, their own family, and their own kind of royalty. It's a film about belonging, survival, joy, and the radical act of being yourself.

Children's Day Recap 💛

What an incredible day filled with laughter, creativity, connection, and joy.

Together with the students and teachers of Hy Vong School, we celebrated Children's Day through games, art activities, dancing, performances, and a shared lunch. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces reminded us why community matters and why every act of kindness can make a difference.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this day possible.

Thank you to the school administration and teachers for welcoming us so warmly.

Thank you to all volunteers who dedicated their time, energy, and care to create meaningful memories with the children.

Thank you to the students for their enthusiasm, wonderful performances, and for sharing this special day with us.

And most importantly, thank you to every donor and supporter. Because of your generosity, we were able to provide the school with a TV, a water dispenser, a fan, art supplies, canvas materials, stationery, and lunch for the children.

This event is a reminder that positive change happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

We are deeply grateful for everyone who contributed, whether through donations, volunteering, sharing our mission, or simply believing in what we do.

Together, we are creating opportunities, supporting education, and building stronger communities—one project at a time.
