Little Marshmellow “Marsha” drank 20 ounces this morning! She has finally gotten the hang of the bottle and feeding lasts a minute or two instead of 10-15. Sweet girl. Come see our newest baby goat while she is still small!

I love when grandparents visit the farm with their grandkids. Our grandson is what caused us to look for land- a place where he could dig all the worms, catch all the frogs. So glad to see others enjoying it as well. Thank you, Colleen, for sharing your great photos and the kind Google review!

During these tours you will get to feed the chickens, pet and catch one too if you'd like. All of our tours are highly interactive with petting, feeding and holding when available. Love on Milkshake the steer and Jojo the cow. Our adult goats Peanut Butter, S'more Frappacino, Oreo McFlurry and Botcha. Walk through the cool red barn. Feed the baby goats a bottle! Our mini pigs Salt and Peppa and their 3 babies will be available. Have you ever held a baby pig? Now's your chance. We have Doodle the Gypsy Vanner and Gus the shetland pony. You'll actually get a chance to groom the pony. And bunnies! If the kids are done with petting we have a great playset that they enjoy too. Join us under the shadetrees at the farm this summer! (Toddler Tuesday are designed to be a smaller group for younger children).

Interesting tidbit I learned from Brayden's horse thereapy school:

Horse Fact: Horses feel relaxed when they listen to certain types of music. A British study performed in 2013 showed that horses feel calm and relaxed when they listen to classical and country music. In contrast, the same study showed that horses were more agitated when they listened to jazz and rock music. It was concluded that any noise over 21 decibels causes horses to become stressed.

Take the farm home! Bunny rental is now available. Summer is a great time for the kids to have a pet without the lifelong commitment. Rent by the week or month. If you've visited our farm, these are the sweet bunnies your children have held. They are bigger now, but still calm and still love to fall asleep in your lap. Please keep in mind that if you have a dog there will need to be a plan to keep the rabbit from being exposed to the scary beast (just kidding- but seriously- the dog would frighten them). Also, they need shade and ventilation so cannot be kept in a garage. Please message me for availability, pricing and pick up. I provide bunny, cage, pellets and hay. You provide fresh water, treats and love.

The time has come. Mario and Luigi are looking for new homes. They are 11 week old Mini- Toggenburgs. They are a cross between a Toggenburg and Nigerian Dwarf. They have not been castrated but I have one week left to do so. These boys have been bottle babies and with groups of kids since they were a couple of weeks old. I would like for them to go to a new home together, but it is not required for the right fit. Please private message me if you or someone you know is interested.

May is Apraxia Awareness Month! Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is an uncommon speech disorder in which a child's brain struggles to develop plans for speech movement. My grandson was diagnosed with this at an early age and spends many hours each week working on speech therapy. The white rooster is in time out today. On Monday he and Big Daddy almost fought to the death. I think he is the new alpha rooster. I have to leave them in their run today so we put this one in time out so they won’t have another mortal combat moment!

Several Crankin Engines summer camp opportunities available in Wake County this summer! We have classes in Apex, Garner, Zebulon, Youngsville, and Angier. A few of these camps are almost full!
