For anyone new to the page — Welcome! 🚒

I’m Raul, a firefighter/EMT and the owner of E7Eight Tap Co. This business started with a vision of giving an old 1978 Pierce fire engine a second life and creating a mobile tap experience that everyone of all ages could enjoy.

Aside from working two fire jobs, being a single father, and balancing everyday life, I’ve been building E7Eight Tap Co. little by little in my free time. It hasn’t always been easy, but seeing this vision slowly come to life has made these sacrifices worth it.

Recently, what started as routine maintenance on Engine 78 uncovered some more serious engine issues. Rather than putting a temporary fix on it, I decided to do it right and make sure Engine 78 comes back stronger, reliable, and ready for many more years of service. It was a hard decision to put this engine out of service for the time being.

But being in the fire service has taught me one important thing…

We adapt and we overcome when things don’t go as plan.🔥

From a business standpoint, it made more sense to get a smaller, simpler platform operational while Engine 78 gets the attention it deserves. The tap equipment from the truck will be repurposed into a new 4-tap setup, built into something a little smaller… but with plenty of personality.

And under the hood? An old school small-block Chevy engine that’s going to give it the serious power it deserves.🔥

So I guess it’s finally time to introduce the newest member of the E7Eight Tap Co. fleet…

Hey everyone! Sorry I’ve been a little absent lately. Between juggling two fire jobs, being a dad, and dealing with some personal things in life, it’s been a little rough.

But E7Eight Tap Co. isn’t going anywhere. Stay tuned—there’s some exciting news coming, along with a few not-so-exciting updates.

HAPPY TUESDAY!

Between both fire jobs, it’s been a challenging week—especially with the Arizona heat. But every chance I get, I’m back out here working on the truck.

Last night didn’t end until 2:00 AM buttoning up the insulation to help keep every pour ice cold, even in the Yuma summer.

It’s the little details that most people will never notice, but they’re the ones that make all the difference. Seeing this vision slowly come together makes every late night worth it. 🚒🔥

Honored to have my business featured on KYMA News 11. What started as a vision a little over five years ago has finally become a reality. Seeing it come to life is something I never imagined I’d be fortunate enough to experience.

The countless hours, late nights, sacrifices, and financial investment have all been worth it. This journey has challenged me, taught me, and helped me grown in ways I never expected.

Between working two fire service jobs and being a dad to an amazing little girl who keeps me humbled every day, she’s my biggest motivation to keep pushing forward and chasing this dream.

Thank you to everyone who has supported E7Eight Tap Co. from the beginning. We are just getting started and it will only get better from here. My goal with this idea has always been more than it just being a business. 🚒

🚨 We had the opportunity to be interviewed by KYMA News 11 today about the journey behind E7Eight Tap Co.!

What started as an old 1978 fire truck is becoming a one-of-a-kind mobile tap truck built right here in Yuma. We’re excited to share the vision and can’t wait to serve the community at weddings, private parties, corporate events, and family-friendly gatherings.

🚒THE E7EIGHT CHALLENGE 🚒

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and I’m challenging myself—and anyone willing to join—to do something hard.

Every Saturday in June, I’ll be running a 5K in full fire gear, and every day throughout the month, I’ll be completing 78 pushups to raise mental health awareness.

This challenge isn’t about being the fastest or strongest. It’s about showing up, staying consistent, and reminding people that it’s okay to ask for help.

How to Participate:

🏃 Run or walk a 5K every Saturday in June
💪 Complete 78 pushups each day
