🎸 SUMMER OF ‘89 IS COMING TO YOUNGSTOWN 🎸

On Saturday, July 25, Ellis Music Events returns to Penguin City Brewing Co.’s new ballroom for a night dedicated to one of the greatest eras in rock music. ☠️ Say Ahh!!! Pittsburgh Poison Tribute Band The Ultimate Poison Tribute takes the stage with special guest Steel Reserve for a night packed with massive singalongs, iconic hooks, big hair, and the high-energy rock that defined the soundtrack of the late ‘80s.

Our launch concert sold more than 200 tickets and VIP tables sold out, and now we’re bringing the energy back for another unforgettable night.

I know most of you know Yadi and Justine from the taproom, but I wanted to take a moment to congratulate both of them on their new roles at Penguin! Yadi is now our Events Coordinator, andJustine is our new Taproom Manager.

We love collaborations and wanted to give a special shout out to Gloria Nell Wood, who did a fantastic job as Elle. Hearing opera at Penguin felt truly magical, and we hope to welcome Opera Western Reserve back again soon!
